Blog Entries: 1 |  bicarbonate of soda, or baking soda, and pva glue. mix into a paste and apply to the areas you want snowy, then shake a bit of powder on top. this will reduce in size as it drys so use more than you think is neccessary and as always when trying something new experiment on a test piece first

| Banned | absolutely not! lol, anyone silly enough to try should not be doing snow. BOT: the baking powder should remain ok through time (i have a comission from about 3 years ago that i see at my mates house from time to time and its till fine), though i dont know what effect varnish has on it. id try that on a tst model too  |

   | I use flex paste for drifts and such...from woodland scenics...it's like a latex paste that doesn't shrink or discolor...

| most hobby stores have them. But if worse comes to worse bases it with saw dust and spray paint it white.. that will do the trick

| i also want to do a snow type base for my eldar, and i noticed that GW sold snow flock. has anyone tried that? is it good? trash?

| flex paste has a matte white finish whenit dries and can be modeled like putty to do what you want as afr as shape goes...use a lil water on yer tool and it creates a slick matte finish...other wise just drop a bit in place and let it settle for a flat feature...works awesome...sorry no pics yet..still working on getting the cam back from dad so I can post pics of my pups...let alone this particular bit...but am trying
