Default Epic Commander

Just want to tell you that me and a few other people are making a total conversion for the Supreme Commander PC Game. Its based on Epic 40,000.

Basically, think of DoW, except you dont manage 10 squads of men and about 7 tanks, you control about 500+ units. Well, actually the population limit can be whatever your computer can handle.

You dont really get the opertunity to micromange the squads as much, but you will be able to build Super Heavy tanks and even Titans. Im not just talking about Warhound titans (though they are in there), but all the way up to Imperetor Emperor Class titans.
Such things as titans will be able to be upgraded, and different weapon combinations will be chosen. Enitre Bases will be able to be created. There will be about 40 different buildings for each race.

We are starting with the Imperiums forces (IG and SM etc) at the moment. We will then move onto some of the other races once the IG is totally finnished.

The Baneblade test model is alredy completed and can be used in the game at the moment. Download Here

You can check out the site too. I have only just started creating the site at the moment, but it will be updated soon.

Sweet man, I've been thinking about getting supreme commander, but I'm afraid it won't work on my comp.

Basically all you are doing is converting an existing game into Epic 40,000: Final Liberation, which I own and think is fantastic, even if it does have problems with the disc overheating after an hours play (causing the game to freeze) in modern CD drives.
You may want to get a copy and compare.
Game mods are always good tho, so keep it up.
I think I've actually got a demo of Supreme Commander somewhere... perhaps =/

Erm its not exactly like Epic 40,000: Final Liberation though. Thats a bit like saying Pacman is the same as Quake 4.

thats going a bit extreme, correct me if i'm wrong, but surely the only major difference in game play is changing from turn based into real-time?
