|  final fantasy - THE greatest rpg series! well, i figured i'd ask the ultima question with the upcoming release of FFVI to the game boy advance coming in just a few weeks! (feb 6th for me!  )for me, while i really loved the story and most of the characters in FFIV, (kain rules!) FFVI is most definately my all time favourite! with so many characters and each of them having their own personal stories and demons that they must eventually confront as the story progresses. then there's the sheer awsomeness of the storyline itself! i find myself constantly going back to play through VI again and again, just to go through the story one more time!  for those who don't know the story behind final fantasy VI; 'long ago the war of the magi reduced the world to a scorched wasteland and magic simply ceased to exist. 1000 years have passed... iron, gunpowder and steam engines have been rediscovered, and high technology reigns... but there are some who would enslave the world by reviving the dread destructive force known as "magic". can it be that those in power are on the verge of repeating a senseless and deadly mistake?' the thing i love the most is the customisation of characters! not quite as individualised as FFII's characters, but with clever use of esper bonus' you can create some pretty godly characters! oh, and you just had to learn to love kefka's antics! cheers!

| Well I've never played FF6, 8, 9, 10, 10-2 or 11 (there's a twelth one now too, isn't there?) So I guess VII is my favorite. I always loved the part where Cloud ramps out of the Shinra building on the bike. Such almighty cut scenes!!

| well, there's simply no toping the original one that started it all! it's just too bad how easy the re-mixed version for the game boy turned out... the bonus soul of chaos stuff was entertaining, but honestly, it's just not right how easy it is to wipe the floor with chaos! the re-mix for ffvi is sounding quite good - the bonus stuff includes harder version of all 8 legendary dragons! cheers!

| Ah i have played them all and loved them all, but VIII is still my favorite, one of these days im gonna take a month out of my life to complete them all from the original to XII. Perhaps this summer, who knows... |

| I once managed to clock up over 70 hours on FFVII. I don't know how...I think it was because my useless black and great chocobo's refused to produce a gold one after days of training them...sigh.

Blog Entries: 4 | God Final Fantasy-the reason I bought a playstation!I clocked god knows how many hours on VII completing it all (all the story lines,defeating all the crystal weapons-Knights of the round on mimic anyone?). Clocked over 100 hours on VIII and then finished IX really really quickly which annoyed me.I bought X and got to the end but an Ex girlfriend wiped it whilst I was on detachment-not happy as for X2 Id rather not talk about it  |

| woot! only one more week till ffvi advance is out!!! so, just curious as to who all here is going to be getting this one? obviously i'm definately going for it, and i'll be playing it using the gameboy player so i can enjoy it on a nice 52" tv screen! apparently the evade/m.block bug prevalent in the other ffvi versions has been somewhat fixed too in this port! cheers!
