 |  Mmorpg !! Sooo...im getting a Gaming PC soon hopefully and want to get back into online momrpg gaming ( massive multiplayer online role playing game ) lol. and so was wondering what do any of you folks play? obviously Wahammer Online is due soon and its meant to be awesome from reports by beta testers and reviews so il defintitly be trying that ? i see theres a Guild wars sticky but theres something about it that doesnt spark my interest , although iv never playe dit to be honest. i myself played World of Warcraft. immense game and great fun but wouldntmind somehting new. suggestion anyone?  ((iv just noticed DoW section, what is it like??? ))

Blog Entries: 4  | Guild Wars: best off waiting for GW2. GW1 is dying out, not enough RP fanbase to support you in their team based missions (i would know, i own all 4 GW1 games.) WoW sucks. Haha. EVE-Online is an AWESOME mmorpg, if you like going into space inside a ship and nuking things with cruise missiles and 1400mm Howitzers. And DoW is amazing as well =]

| DoW is simply fantastic, first RTS i've played where every faction/army is completely distinct from all the others in terms of tactics and strengths/weaknesses. I love to play as IG, basically because I play defensively before exploding out of my fortress-like base in an almighty blitzkrieg (as Erus can attest) |

Blog Entries: 2  | I`m going through the Sup Com Demo at the moment Great RTS games at the moment: DoW CoH WiC and SupCom (SC is reserved for StarCraft)  MMO: DAoC EVE and WoW FPS: Team Fortress 2 CoD4 Arcade: I couldn`t care less atm Almost forgot: Assassin`s Creed is a must so is Kane and Lynch, Jericho and Hellgate: london are also nice

| Only MMO's I've played in any meaningful capacity are Dark Age of Camelot (3 years) City of Heroes (6 months) and WoW (1 year). You've played WoW, so no need to go there. City of Heroes is actually a lot of fun. Very good looking MMO as well and lots of neat features. There's still a good amount of playbase too. I mainly stopped because of time constraints and didn't have many friends that played. Dark Age of Camelot was great fun while I played. I haven't played it in about 2 years now, so I don't know how big a user base they still have. I haven't played the newer expansion at all (darknees rising I think). They game is quite old (like 2001-2002 I think). Although the most I can say about it despite it's flaws is that it has the BEST PvP model in the genre currently. The PvP model is what gives me high hopes for Warhammer Online (mythic made DAoC). But again, with Warhammer coming out and DAoC being so old, it might not be the best time to jump in. |

| I still wanna play WoW :'( i bought CoH/CoV but my game card wouldnt work and i just tossed it lol  yeah ive heard good reports about DAoC, might look into it. ive also seen that pirate game too on some sites, drew my attention, gonna see how it comes out. another rpg coming out meant to be good is Darkfall. It looks like its got everything a moRPG could ask for but im still going to have to wait to see how things all go first keep those suggestions coming ^^

| Ah! MMORPGs are overrated. Counter-Strike and DOTA ftw! Seriously... CS is $20 dollars via steam... no monthly fee, and is THE most fun FPS I have ever played. Except possibly Half-life 2. Of course, I haven't played CoD 4 yet... so my opinion may change. Or, you could be really radical and starting doing Pen-and-paper Role-playing (which is also VERY fun).
