PS3 or Xbox 360?

Mass Effect- was talking to my best friend the other day, even though we played characters that were roughly the same (Soldiers, relatively good guys) we ended up with completely different endings and experiences because of a couple of different decisions.

Well I bought a 360 and Assasian's Creed (Which is effing heaps good but whats up with the ending?) and I was wondering how Live works? like do I need to get another internet connection or can I just use the computers?

And giving up PSP when Squad Commander is coming is BAAAAAD.

I've played a demo of this on a friend's PSP. And it's.. not worth the trouble of buying it =/

All you need is a router, and an ethernet cable (Which SHOULD have been provided with the 360.) However, Live does cost seperately, but you get 1 month free, so you can see if you like it.

I loved KOTOR, played themm over and over and over again. However i can't bring myself to buy mass effect. It's like denial because i refuse to buy an rpg from bioware thats not kotor 3

Dont buy a PS3 or 360. Buy a PS2... a lot cheaper and reliable and a great libary of games you can pick up cheaply second hand giving you spare cash to spend on whatever you fancy.

i bought a wii and a ps3 never played x box so im okay with it, i did play halo 3 with my friend though when we get bored we switch systems for a week

I'd say buy a PS2 if you have no live, if you want a lot of GREAT and cheap games, like cheapest there is, get one.


Nothing can compare to all the people on xbox live though, and how good it works

I am a playstation 3 owner and I can honestly say that I love the system I don't have to pay for online play I still get the same games as the 360. But mind you I like the online play and I would hate to have to pay for it. I bought the system the games the internet and now I have to pay just to use it.. Big NO NO for me I like the option of choosing to pay however because it will increase there revenue which does lead to the 360 getting the games and new add ons sooner but I feel I have the patience to wait plus we ps3 player get double ex sertain days.But in the end they are typically exactly the same just diffrent buttons diffrent look..WhOooOoo

You forgot one very BIG key thing about the PS3 it is Blue-ray ready out of the box! Sense HD-dvd is dead and Blue-ray is the future, if you are looking for a Solid system, fun games, 90% backwards compatability with PSone and PS2 games, amazing graphics, and the future of movie home entertainment then I would sugest a PS3.

If you want a solid system, fun games, amazing graphics (on about 70% of the games), 60% backwards compatability with just x-box games, and only dvd playback then go with a 360.

For my money I loved the 360 for a few years, but now that I have my PS3 I havn't touched my 360 in about 6 months.

I have a friend who has a PS3, its ok, the graphics are nice, but he has a really nice tv which helps with that. Personally, I'd go for the 360 because of the more/better(imo) game selection. Until movies are only made in BR, I don't really see it as viable yet, they are so more expensive than regular DVDs.

Im Going to say both are big money wastes, on the fact they will be out dated very soon and very few interesting game's seem to be coming out for eather. Ironicly the wii seems like the best system right now.....But its still nothing compared to a computer.

I had a Wii...for about 1-2 weeks. I only had fun with it when I had friends over, and even then it felt weird being a college student playing a game that looks like it is more aimed towards little kids who have no interest in an actually gaming system. I traded it in for a psp. I got annoyed that it kept telling me to go outside after each tennis match I played. Just hand me the sticks(and a comfy chair) and I'll do work.
