Introductory Speach :Hello everybody! Been out of the hobby for about 15 years (Use to play most Gw games) and recently got back into it.

Basic InfoMore into the painting/converting and background fluff side than gaming but i like the idea of the BF40K!

Hi Ulfhednar, and welcome to 40K Terra.

I'm the Adeptus Mechanicus. If you have any technical problems then just ask. This can be done by either sending me a personal message (PM), or by making a post on the Site Support & Feedback section of the site.

This forum has many people with an insane amount of knowledge about all gaming systems, even Aeronautica Imperialis.

Check out the Battlefield 40K System we have created. this allows people to battle with each other, even if they live on different continents!

We will soon having a campaign running on the site. This comes complete with background information and images of the entire system and individual planets. We have called it; THE ACHERON CAMPAIGN, and it can be found at; www.40kterra.com/campaign

THE INQUISITOR is our very own Internet magazine. If you are a good write, then why not write an article about something you enjoy.

Soon there is also going to be a dedicated trade site, so all members can sell and buy items from each other.

Then finally we also have THE LIBRARIUM project. The aim of this is to collect all the information about everything for all GW gaming systems.

We are also going to be starting a series of contests soon. More details will be revealed later.

Oh yea, we also have a forum

Just a few rules:

No listing of individual points cost of items or model profiles.
No Double posting or double threads.
Do not use txt speech, LEET, or any abreviated language, just English.
Respect peoples opinions and be courteous to others.
A moderators choice is not to be argued.

I hope you find this fun, and also have fun in the process.

40K Terra is growing quickly, and I hope that you will be a part of it.

Welcome to the forums and welcome back to the hobby ^^
I see Ikarus and Cargarner have already taken care of all the intro-response posting so i'll be brief
one of my favorite guard schemes was my friend's new one (based off such classics as Gears of War) -> Cityfight Camo (Black, greys) with bits of dark metal and neon-blue symbols ^^

I do suggest, if you like fluff, to write the fluff for the army you are envisioning first. the setting and imagery elements of the fluff will help you get a color scheme
