Blog Entries: 1 | yo to you and welcome astral hawk i am hariyyahoo, otherwise known a background noise. in here, sanity is optional and stitch feeding is generally considered a bad thing (however if you're fast enough on your feet and like to live dangerously it can be a good way to relieve boredom).

| Hi all. I've been away at a convention and haven't been able to respond. Lets see if I can cover them all. I will definitely have to check out the campaign. I love battles set in a larger picture, they are much more important felling. In fact I am trying to make my own map-based campaign right now. I will also try to get some of my conversions up in a month or so. Yes Warhammer radio led me hear. I love their sense of humor, especially the interactions between the Commissar and Furface Dingledang. So when they mentioned this site I just had to check it out. The Librarium sounds awesome. I am a huge fluff fanatic so having a single repository for it will be great. If you need old fluff, especially about the Emperor, try wikipedia. Also, I have a few questions too. Does this site have a dead thread rule? A lot of sites are very strict about this, so I was wondering. And what is this Custodian thing? I am unfamiliar with this sites hierarchy. Finally, don't worry Hairyyahoo/Killermoose I learned a long time ago that sanity is over-rated. And what is this Stitch creature you speak of? Last edited by Astral_Hawk; 03-14-2007 at 04:01 PM. | The Omnissiah ![]() ![]() | Well we dont actually have anything about returning to a dead thread, as long as you have some new, original information to add to the conversation. If you just say stuff like; "Yea, I agree" and thats it, you might as well not bother. On the hierachy thingy (highest rank first); Administrator Adeptus Mechanicus Co-Admin High Lord of Terra (Super moderator) Moderator Senior Member Junior Member The Custodians and Librarians, (and soon also Lexomachanics) are titles for jobs that people have volenteered for; A Custodian checks army lists and organises voting threads for BattleField 40k battles. They may also decide what mission should be used in that battle. A Librarian is somebody who creates articles that can be added into the Librarium. Other members can only suggest ideas for articles. The lexomechanic is somebody who reads through articles for the INQUISITOR, and possibly Lirarium articles for gramma, spelling etc. The campaign is suspended at the moment until the contests have been completed, but will be started soon.

| Cool, thanks for the explanation Cagarner. I like the idea of fluffy names for positions, but shouldn't the administer be the golden throne? To answer Dan296, yes it is always worth it, in my opinion, to start a high school club. We started small with about ten people. It wasn't just a Warhammer club though, every game was allowed. This is a very important necessity to keep a school club going. In the beginning there were only about three people doing table-top gaming. Though we eventually corrupted/ converted four other people to table-top when I was there, that still wasn't enough people to have its own club. (There was a minimum of ten people for a club.) By allowing other games we were able to attract very different groups to the club. One year we had over thirty people join. Games like Apples to Apples can really draw in big crowds, as well as the ever devoted magic players. Also by allowing other games we not only formed a community for all gamers, we also got to play lots of other fun games. I will never forget crushing my dean at Axis and Allies. With the Germans to boot! Now how many people can say that? If you are thinking about forming a club I would suggest going for it. See who is interested, you just might be surprised.
