Heroka Vendile's Introduction - 40K Terra

Introductory Speach :
Everyone else has done one, so i guess i should too.

Basic Info
I've been a part of the hobby for some 7 years now, though it has to be said that my actual gaming activity has never been very high.
I've been to the last four UK Games Days, including 06.
More than anything else, I love the glorious fiction that gw produces, for all its ranges.

Armies owned/paint status:
Space Marines - a constant, long term failure to complete or organise properly. Various states of built/unbuilt/painted/bascoated.

Imperial Guard - about 80% of the planned 1,500points has been built and basecoated, with 10% built but uncoated and 10% just plan ol' unbuilt.
About 30 men have recieved my attempt at painting so far and the Leman Russ is partially painted.

I also have some Nids from the B.f.M. set. Plus my dad has a Dark Eldar army of unknown size as a formal list has never been written up.

There is also a box of firewarriors, a couple which have been built.

I recently bought the first models for my second Guard army, a long-term project to create a company of the 'Berinial Ad-hoc Regiment', also known as 'The Last Men' because they are basically a regiment made of the only survivors of their sucessful defense of Berinial Primaris - which means buying a wide variety of minitures. This will take time. And money.

Additionally i have about ten ideas for great(I think) dioramas, however they will (a)have to wait till i have enough money and (b)require me to find someone willing to team up with me and paint them to a good standard.

it's always good to have yet another guard player on these borads!!! (i myself play an all-infantry drop troops force!)

don't worry, we're not too crazy all told, but keep your eyes open when we crazy canucks are about!lol.
