Basic Info I'm a student at U of L, I've been playing for about a year now...I had to take a few months off for school though, but now I'm back into it. I got a flyer down at the Louisville Game Shop from the guy who runs the joint.

Armies owned/paint status: Blood Angels, about 1000pts, all painted. I have 5 sniper scouts that I'm currently painting.

Hi jus10 the angel, and welcome to 40K Terra.

I'm the Adeptus Mechanicus. If you have any technical problems then just ask. This can be done by either sending me a personal message (PM), or by making a post on the Site Support & Feedback section of the site. Also check out The Adeptus Workshop if you want a signature or avatar created.
You can always post individual models, or entire armies and we will check them out.
This forum has many people with an insane amount of knowledge about all gaming systems, even Aeronautica Imperialis.

Check out the Battlefield 40K System we have created. this allows people to battle with each other, even if they live on different continents!

We will soon having a campaign running on the site. This comes complete with background information and images of the entire system and individual planets. We have called it; THE ACHERON CAMPAIGN, and it can be found at; www.40kterra.com/campaign

THE INQUISITOR is our very own Internet magazine. If you are a good writer, then why not write an article about something you enjoy.
We also have some contests running. There is the Conversion Competition, Painting Competition, Fluff & Fiction Competitioｎ, 40k Quiz Contest. Be sure to have a go at them!

Then finally we also have THE LIBRARIUM project. The aim of this is to collect all the information about everything for all GW gaming systems.

Yes! the Louisville Gameshop! the cool guy who runs the place gave me a nice little flyer, and I prefer to be on forums that are run locally than ones that are faceless and where I will only know the people posting through the internet.

So rule #3...does that apply to my handle?

I'll be up at the Louisville Gameshop at like 1ish, and i'll probobly stay until 6, or 8, i forget what time he wants it to be over.

I will also be up there on monday night (its skirmish night), from about 4 til 8.

I dont have any pictures, well, I dont have any good ones. I used my phone to take some of my tactical squad, but the models are so tiny, and the camera is so crappy that they didnt turn out that good.

I'm no where near the best painter in the world, so youre not missing out on much.

Well, this is a global site actually, not just for Louisville. We have people from everywhere. I'm sure you find everybody here is friendly, and I hope nobody sees this forum as just another faceless forum, but more of a friendly community.

Also, your not just Imperial Citizen: 341, you are a valued member, and I hope you, and other members of this site know that your ideas and suggestions are welcomed. Afterall, this site is for everybody. The things that are already on this site are almost all suggestions and ideas from members that have been developed.

by the way, I'm just a Co-admin. Lord Ikarus is the emperor (administrator) around here.

Also, even if your not a great painter at the moment, we have plenty of people who are. So if you need tips & tricks for painting, modeling, converting and stuff like that, just post a thread somewhere in the appropriate place in the Hobby Discussion section.

Excellent, i'll bring my EC. They aren't painted yet (GW keeps goofing off sending me my shoulder pads), but they are excellently converted. I may not have it up to WYIWYG ethier, as I have yet to (again) get my order in from GW. Slow arsed motha truckers! If you like the site, make you tell people man! I'll have my fiancee bring her camera sunday, or monday (I tend to hit there about 5, but since no class for pres. day I could swing earlier) and help you get some fine quality pics up and running. Monday is a holiday, and thus I will be needed at work and will not be able to make it to the shop that day. Tuesday is painting night, so I'll prolly go then (i'm thinking of starting an Eldar army).

But I will be up there tomorrow. And my models arent WYSIWYG either...well they mostly are, but I'm missing a whole set of jumppacks.
