Introductory Speach : Wow... I just realized I actually don't have one of these. So... Here it goes. Basic Info 18 year old university student, going to a local college to get basic classes out of the way. Playing 40K for coming on a year now, fan and fluff addict for two years prior to that and still am. Also an avid 14th century re-enactor for a local renaissance faire, where I will be seen in glorious nobility next year. Also known for being seen around the Faire in historical attire, lugging around a White Dwarf or Codex, or 40K novel. Name: Depends.. Jeremy.. Liath.. Erus.. 'YOU BEARDED *&#) CHEESE MONGER!'. Many things, but mainly Jeremy. Armies owned/paint status: roughly 1800 pts. of Emperors Children, none painted, one squad stripped due to poor color scheming. Location: Louisville, KY Contact Info: It's all on my profile! Any other information: Beware the Lord Commanders Stick! (After a late night rant with a few fellow 40K players, including our dear leader Ikarus, I have decided to use my 40K knowledge, and skill at wood craft and knowledge of smithing to create a life size Emperors Children desecrated chaplains crozius, and poossibly rosarius. I have no life, and thus it is the Lord Commanders stick!)

Trying to find suitable wood and metal pieces. The shaping of the Emperors Children-esque wings will be rather complicated, given that they are metal. However, having a step father that run a machine shop makes this problem much easier! Then, there is the painting (fiancee airbrushes). However, getting this project done will be reserved until my army is tournament ready. It'll hand over the shelf where my minis sit, but one shelf above so it can't plop onto them.

Currently advancing the project one step! (I'll use this thread for updates to keep spammage/such down). I'm in the beinnings of trying to get a design together to send to a friend of mine (retired profressional artist) to make a mold of to cast the metal in. MY big question is... Can any of you give me an idea of what a Chaplains crozius would have looked like, pre-heresy, for the Emperors Children? I can't find any really good pictures to give her an idea. It needs to be grand and all fanciful (but not too much). It is the Lord Commanders stick.

maybe take a standard imperial design, but then add the ever-more flavourfull chaotic touches to it! swap the aquila's head for a skull, elongate the talons and maybe even make the body look more along the lines of say daemonette?!! hope this helps, cheers!
