RANKS

Within this forum, there are a number of ranks that represent to jobs that people fulfill within this forum.

You will start of as a Junior Member, but after you make 100 posts you will become a Senior Member. Once you reach this rank, you will be able to give people Rep Points (Reputaion Points, which will be explained in a minute).

Another job within the forum is the Moderator. If you are on any other forums, you will know what they do. They just 'Police' the forums, removing or editing any posts that brake the forum rules. They are assisgned to certain subforums, and whatever they say is to be followed.

A High Lord of Terra is basically a Super Moderator. They are the same as moderators, but are not based in one particular subforum, but the entire forum. They move threads around to other forums and stuff like that.

A Custodian has a more specific job. These people are incharge of the Battlefiled 40K Section of the site. They organise battles and check is the lists are corect and legal. If your wandering, Battlefield 40K is the system we invented where two people post up and army list, and everybody else votes for who they think would win a battle. for more information, view the subforum:

A librarian is somebody who is able to help create a database of all things 40K. They post up information about a topic, such as Space Marines, and the other Librarians check for accuracy and then it will be entered into the Librarium. Their forum is here:

When a person types, for example "Space Marine", the words will automatically be linked to the Librarium Article.

A Lexomechanic's job is to check the spelling of Librarium articles, and also to help produce THE INQUISITOR, our very own E-Magazine. We will be completing our first Issue very soon. You can view the sub forum here:

The people that make up the Admin team are the The Emperor (Administrator), and his Co-Admins.

That concludes almost all the ranks. Now onto the Reputaion system.

Reputation
The purpose of the Reputation system is to reward people for doing good stuff. This can be either giving some good advise and help, or doing good work (such as posting an amazing conversion, writing a good story etc...).

If you think somebody deserves a reputation point, then click on this button:



Then enter a reason for you giving rep, and one rep point will be given to the user you nominated. Your rep points only give rep when you have over 100 Posts.

Once you reach 100 Rep Points, You gain the rank of ILLUMINATED. With this rank, you gain acsess to a secret Sub Forum, where only ILLUMINATED rnaked people may enter. This has less forum rules, and more flexability with your user account.

Every so often, we will also have competitions. These are for a number of things, such as; Painting, Conversions, Fiction and a 40K Quiz. There is also a 40K Tournament that is about to start.

The 40kTerra Forums is a place for hobby enthusiasts to come together to discuss all things Games Workshop and alike. However, there are rules and guidelines to be used and kept in mind when posting and using to the Forums.

4) The moderation and staff team's decision is final, unless further stated. But if you feel that something is unfair or misconducted please report it in the support forums.

5) Speech: It is good practice to keep the site clean and easily readable by all audiences. We ask that you please refrain from Internet, 1337, or any online speech through typing out your messages (I.E. LOL, OMFG! STFU! etc.)

6.) Double Threading, Posting and Spamming will not be tolerated (In most cases, only a few have exceptions. If you do Double Post with intentions, please post explanation onto why you have double posted and you will be exempt if your reason is justifiable.)
