|  40k range equivalence As the title suggests, what would be the real world equivalent to 40k measurements, you know, 12'', 24'', etc... Thanks in advance

   | to scale?...1" is equal to about 5 feet...so do the math...at 12"...EFFECTIVE range would be 60 feet or just about twenty meters...that's about right for a pistol...  However..there is some kind of exponential curve because as the range increases the math falls a lil short...so yer 48" EFFECTIVE range for a lascannon = 240 feet or about 75 meters just doesn't add up...and as the range increases ie for say a basilisk?...the math falls even shorter still...
