Blog Entries: 1  |  Armored Assault Lists For Apoc if i can get enough money in the next few months (which i probably will, will be legally able to get job in florida after 20th of november) i am planning to buy 3 emperor's wrath artillery company boxes (it says on the site that 3 is a regiment. thoughts?

THAT'S MADNESS! anyhow...don't worry though, you're not alone. i just CHANGED the traits of my SM chapter that i've been working on for TWO years just so i could fit in whirlwinds...and a ton of them ! and i had a similar idea, of using 1 GK grandmaster, 2 squads of minimized GK marines, and then having the rest of my points spent on orbital bombardments. same idea as you..raining hell!

A few reserves (teleport) units should be included too. @marcus: wow... you sure that's a good idea. Apoc is bigger but still needs to be balanced. and 3 chimaeras + 27 basilisks are pretty weak on the armour.

Admittedly a phalanx of Landraiders or Monoliths would be the only things that could run the gauntlet with any chance of getting through (a Titan would be a smear on the ground, all those guns shotting at one thing? ha it'd be like crushing a can). Fear deep striking troops though.... |

Unless your friends are up for a chalenge, or they have a lot of wolf scouts. About the list. On all of those Tank Ace Chimeras, you should through in some Heavy Bolter, heavy Flamer, and Autocannon turrets. I love all the names though. It reminds me of what the Tanith wrote on the missiles used by the aircraft in...crap...which book? IDK, but they wrote things like: If you can read this, you're about to die.

| haha. regardless of powergamey-ness, some of us will soon be broke hobbyists..if not indebted hobbyists XD i do like this mass tank idea though. i'm trying to stay away from solid tank/big thingy armies by allying my SM 1.5k with a soon to be begun mechanized IG 1.5k, which brings me to 3k, and will be filled in until it reaches apoc size :]
