| the escalation rule is a mission special rule where all but infantry models without transports start in reserve. as for the chaos abomination army, i cannot say even though i play Chaos, i don't know what is meant |

| escalation is damn good fun! plus i really enjoy how it utterly breaks a number of those gimmicky, 'one trick poney' lists who rely on one tactic to win... (that'll teach you to start actually thinking, bwahaha!) the 'abomination' term was coined by the techpriests and playtesters during production of the current chaos codex. basically, it's a list that looks like so; 2x sorcerers or daemon prince w/MoS + lash of submission 1x 6 man slaaneshi terminator unit 6 oblits as many thousand sons units as pts allow for. trust me, this is even nastier than the iron warriors of old! we saw one guy with this set-up on the weekend at astro. he got soundly thrashed most of the time simply because he couldn't compleat mission objectives. but that's astro and it's very different from most every other event out there... in a 'typical' tournament along the lines of the UK GT heats, the abomination list rules. it was coined 'abomination' because that's what everyone thought it was; a stupidly effective army that compleatly and utterly breaks the codex. of corse, some the higher-ups in the studio didn't like how the techpriests/playtesters put the facts to them, so nothing was really done to stop this monstrosity from being born so to speak... cheers!

| always mart! and thanks Stitch  , mart doesn't need encouraging to try and make a cheese list.could you not have given him a balanced all comers list and told him that was cheese? we need to encourage him towards all comers, so that he can a) get a decent tourny list together and b) stop getting cheese lists wrong and losing horribly (or at best, draw against armies that are thrown together) |

Falcons all Vectored of course. Troop choice I was thinking 3 squads of Pathfinders if points allow? Actually Drax, 2K or 1.5?
