Now that`s where it`s at!

Just think about it

They put honorific dying marines in those big toys, eventually someone somewhere put a lybrarin intro one

What are your thoughts?

Who would do this?

What would it be like?

Could we manage to integrate it in the game?

even though librarians are brave battle brothers they are still not trusted by the non psykers mainly the tech that inter warriors into dreads.
Even the 1k sons dread isnt a psyker but im sure home grwon rules about one would add a nice element that others havent seen

that sounds like a pretty rad idea. you'd also think that if they did slap a Librarian into a dreadnaught it'd be even stronger because of tech support from his much larger and more awesome Armour

in friendly games, ask your opponent if you can include an allied grey knight dreadnought with the 'blessed' upgrade... sure it's not 100% legal, but it does kinda represent the idea you're after!

i'm sure chapters such as the blood ravens who have a disproportionally high number of librarians, or else radical chapters like the relictors have indeed entombed a mortally wounded librarian into a dreadnought?!!

Hmm, well if you wanna make it so it has "extra tech" like psi-titans do, then i'm sure we need a list of "amplified" psychic powers too.

in vallo domus a Revilers Chaplain is interred into a dreadnought and the techmarines make him an upscaled Crozius that diverts power from the dreadnought CCW

ive been working on a preliminary model of him.

Chaplain dreadnought special rules:
Inspiring: Any unit that fails a leadership check within 12'' of the Chaplain Dreadnought may re-roll

Litinies of hate: Once per game, any unit locked in close combat within 12'' of the Chaplain Dreadnought may reroll any missed to hit rolls

Librarian dreads could use similar things, such as the ability to use two psychic powers in a turn or two psychic hood thingers.
no force weapon close combat arms though. wayyy too overpowered.

Awesomeness. I imagine the Dreadnought hull itself would have some extra psi amplifiers.

I just thought the Dread would have something that would boost the Librarians powers even more so. But I guess that's what the hood is for!

I think it`s quite a playable unit you did there

The Psicanon, even at S6 is pretty darn attractive

right...now the question is, how to represent that hood ? you could have psy amplifiers all over the place and claim it takes the place of the psychic hood ? unless you were starting with the ven dread metal model, in which case you could say the hood behind the sunken dread head was a psy hood ? :]

haha this is pretty cool stuff here. good rules too ! although 240 is pretty expensive. i dunno, i guess it's worth a lot though, since it incorporates the abilities of a dread, librarian and i guess a GK w/ psycannon all at the same time ? :]
