| Deus ex machina describes an unexpected, artificial, or improbable character, device, or event introduced suddenly in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation or untangle a plot (e.g., having the protagonist wake up and realize it was all a dream, or an angel suddenly appearing to solve problems). now tell me. 100% of you, when looking at the title, thought of the adeptus machanicus, right? of course right. this was websters word of the day, and when looking at it i realize why it was the adeptus' motto, because they dont know why this stuff works, it just does! so its the machine god...of course.... |
