Default Forge World's New Game

Hi everyone

I'm not entirely sure on its name but its the new game that Forge World are creating where you get to play with all the atmosphere flying vehicles and involve them in missions like bombing raids and dogfights

Does anyone know when this is going to be realeased??
And is anyone going to get it??

releasedate: unknown, currently in early/mid stages of dev as far as i know
but im definitely getting it
Aeronautica Imperialis. by name
the game will include tiny flyers (around epic size)
th wikipedia article is, well, a wiki and currently in dev. not much news since photos from last games day.

some info from gamesday scots:

The rules should be released around Games Day and are separate to the Imperial Armour series;
- There are no plans to redo any of the existing Epic scale aircraft;
- You'll need minis to play the game - no plans for card counters;
- All aircraft will have a min & max speed and a thrust rating;
- There will be 9 different height levels;
- There are 10 different maneuvres - 1-4 are simple and can be performed by any aircraft, 5-8 are more complex and can only be performed by the faster more agile aircraft, and 9+10 are real suicide bomb run stuff;
- Each maneuvre has an impact on your speed and height;
- All aircraft will use a modified LotR clix base to show speed and height;
- Shooting takes place after movement, although you can shoot before the movement phase if "you're on someone's six"!!
- You can also opt to hold the trigger down longer to increase your chance of a hit but at more risk to yourself;

We’ve also designed a new plastic flying base for the aircraft to use that cleverly shows arcs of fire as well as keeping track of the speed and altitude too.
I’ve watched quite a few games now and played a couple during play-testing and I really enjoyed it. Each of the different airforces do have their own ‘character’ and have to be used in quite different ways. Just don’t let an Ork Fighta get up close behind you is all I can say! ‘Aeronautica Imperialis’ should be released later this year and we promise to keep everyone up to date with it’s progress via the Forge World Newsletter.
note that there is no user called "ForgeWorldOfficialRelease" i used that to denote this is their actual official release info for the game.

i actually tried to make up a dogfight style game myself years ago when the minis for the epic fighters first came out, but i lost interest when i realised just how complex it would get. i hope FW keep it as simple as pos to make the game flow smoothly. this is a really exciting lil devolopment

it wont have infinite heights and stuff.
it's more or less 3D bfg with faster stuff (given that they use maneouvers and stuff)

ive been looking forward to this game for the past 6 months or so. it will be ncie to get back to a nice complex epic-style game, pity its just fliers. but im sure if this proves successful (which im sure it will - just look at those fiddly bases! beauty!) FW will try their hand at something else.

well probably not.
they might expand / add rules for more flyers into epic
but a combo game probably won't happen.
