are the only ones I go on. Porks Films is how I'm known there.....

it's nothing personal... just that we don't want people registering on here to simply advertise another forum and trying to steal our members...

personally, i've signed up for numerous forums, but this is my one true home!
the other forum i regularly visit is the astronomi-con forums... only 45 or so members as it's basically still pretty much astro allumni.

Hmmm. I'm registered on a number of forums. Some big, some small. I only visit 4 regularly. This forum is quickly becoming my favorite.

hmm...i think of 40kterra as my main forum as well. i don't spend as much time on relic or warseer because there are just toooooo many users, so many that it no longer feels personal. here, it seems like you kind of get to know the users a little bit, or at least get to know their style of play and armies and whatnot :]

I registered on Atronomican when they posted a link on the GW Forum. I posted some photos of my IG and taht was it. I was registered on the GW forum also, but that forum has joined the emperor now...

Anyways, 40K Terra is my home, and all other shall bow before its might!

This and the BL forum. Though, before it was taken down I was a member of the GW forum and Kingdoms of Azeroth (which failed cause after like 4 years of lots of people we only had like 6 or 7, including me).

I'm on the BL and specialist-games forums but I've been steadily drifting more towards glorius terra.

I tried Astronomican, but it just wasn't as much fun without the constant ramblings of Stitch

I am on 40kterra and BL (though I've only put up Final Hour... and no one seemed to notice it...). I technically still have an account at Librarium-Online, but I don't use it anymore, except to pull the fluff I've written off there.

So when is GW gonna start the old forum back up? I was kind of an oldie on there. When it shut down there was only a few names that I could remember from the early days...............................Anyone on THIS forum come from the GW forums like me?

i came from the GW forums..in fact i started posting on forums on the GW one. i remember when they were closing and people were freaking out haha...sad though, because that interface was pretty easy to use, etc...and the high number of readers meant you usually got a response :]

i haven't heard anything about their return though.. : /

I like this forum better, its easier to keep track of your threads.

And IMHO, those forums ain't coming back, I just have this feeling, knowing GW and what they did to the White Dwarf forum.

I registered to many, many forums, but only go on here now. I was from the GW forums too, 3 guesses what my name was. I was only on for a few months before they shut down. I'm happier here though, theres much more of a community feeling here than there was there.

ah! the fond memories of the many silly people who enjoyed stiring up trouble just because they could!
i remember good 'ol eldrad's threads in the games dev boards being particulary heinous! (he was nob who suggested the shuricat go S3 assault 3 'rending'!)

and of corse, 3 guesses what name i used on those boards! (no points if you need more than one...)
i was regarded as a hard-@$$ed company lover and the re-incarnation of the overfiend for my comments on the dev boards!

however, i think it was mainly the high proportion of thickskulls like eldrad and the constant company bashing that really led to those forums closing...
but now we have terra and we can complain endlessly about gw policies untill the end times come!

I was a Tau lover at that time (I shudder at the memory), but they really got a hard time. Everyone had the 'Tau suck, Imperium could squish 'em in 2 seconds if they wanted' attitude that really annoyed me. But I agree, it was all the stupid posts that ended up getting rid of the forums.

My name used to be Kins. I registered before the name Stubber was bestowed upon me by the powers above.

I had posts locked on me the whole time for no apparent reason...no explanation...wasn't breaking any rules.
They let dozens of miserable feckers post to their hearts content saying 'Orks look like piles of snot' and 'tau are stupid because they have the most powerful basic weapon in the game'.

None. I had a brief stint in admin at a self-brewed forum, but abandoned it to come here as I saw the potential being far greater!

Thinking back on it now, those flame wars were insanely mild compared to my other main forum's flame wars. But even then, they don't last long becuase sick jokes about you and a camel doesn't stick for too long....

(This may or may be the truth.)
