Default the funniest molson ad of all time!

http://gprime.net/video.php/wheresyourpetbeaver

funniest thing ever on canaidan primetime tv! it's just too bad i can't find the second half on this...

still, it brings back fond memories of when all beer ads ignored the idea of 'political correctness' and were actually humourous...
(anyone remember the original "out of the blue" ads?!!)

cheers!

No! I'm not listening! Beavers rule.....

Why are they mass murderers? Does this mean me having one in my house is a bad idea?

a beaver damn that was built near the CP rail lines flooded the tracks... the next frieght train that came along derailed and two of the crew died! (and no, this isn't a joke...)

in manitoba, they routinely up the bounty on the little pests because there's so damn many of them! and what they've done all through ontario cottage country isn't funny anymore...

yes folks, only in canada does a nation's national animal cause hell and havoc and millions of dollars in property damages!

cheers!

thats an awsome ad.
down with political correctness! UP WITH GEORGE CARLIN!!
i guess beavers are like white tailed deer in maryland. they dont exactly derail trains, but more people die from deer attacks than shark attacks! (true! people feed them and then they get stabbed with hoofs. read 'Guts' by gary paulsen.)

okay, now it sounds like there could be a few darwin awards there!

as much as we canucks love our furry little friends, in all honestly and considering the many other more 'noble' animals in our great country, we had to choose a buck-toothed, web-toed, water-loged, waddle-happy rodent for our national mascot?!!

anyways, it's just too bad that i can't find the second part to that ad... it was even funnier!

cheers!

In my opinion, any country with a Beaver as its mascot deserves congratulating. Though Moose(s?) are pretty darn cool though.

BTW, Stitch, your description of the beaver just made it seem even cuter!

It's "meese", Killermoose. It's only in your name for Emperor's sake...

The Canadian national animal should definitely be a moose. Or a pack of meese.

... for all those who really want an honest answer, the plural of moose is moose.

I like to say 'Mooses' to make sure everyone knows what I'm talking about. Though its a pain in the butt to say without sounding like an idiot.

Though I think I might have to say 'Meese' from now on....

Yeah, it is. I put that at the bottom of my post, in case there were those who were wondering.

But seriously, the fact that the plural of moose does not equal meese is one of many things that I hate about the english language: too many exceptions, subrules, and general crap.

As a cartoon character once said (there are probably few who know this show) in addition to moose and meese, "If the plural of mouse is mice, shouldn't the plural of spouse be spice?" He was kinda crazy and empty-headed, but I always thought he had a point.

But anyway, caribou = definitely not > meese.
