GD UK Next Year? ('08?) - 40K Terra

Ok... We have talked about it, and a LOT of members want to.

who's up for organizing a 40k Terra Meet up at GD UK next year, with a trip to Warhammer World, etc.. No definite plans/stuff yet, but it'd be a fun trip. Anyone else up for it?

Well living in the UK I'd feel damn selfish if any of you Yanks (or Cannucks and others) turned up and I hadn't bothered to go...so count me in

The fact I live only 45mins from Warhammer World (Nottingham) and the same distance from where Games Day is held (The NBC in Birmingham) is a boon too.

bit of both...my village is 8 miles outside of stoke and (as my friend who came to visit from nottinghamshire found out) extremely difficult to find unless you know exactly where your going.

err, Erus, small warning, Birmingham (where the NECC and thus GD UK are) is not exactly close to Nottingham and Warhammer World.
And I don't mean an hours travel, I mean more like two.

A bit of an impossibility to organise (tho if yanks are staying for several days holiday, then perfectly do-able for you lot), a meeting place at GD 08 would make more sense, someone with a 40kTerra banner or t-shirt or something being the meeting point (say, at the space marine statue) at a certain time of the day.

By next year i'll be there, hopefully in my own Space Marine armor, Deathwing Chaplain. So, not too hard to spot!

GD UK was latched onto as a side bit, the main idea when D_c mentioned it was Warhammer World.

Its normaly September-usualy the weekend of my other brother in law (to be's ) birthday (selfish git) so I have to miss it frequently for "family things"

But I have already told the trouble and strife I will be going next year!

GD UK is in the second last or final full weekend of September every year. Varying slightly depending on the calender layout.

meeting under the space marine is a good idea. they didn't have that the last time i was at a GD but then that was 199something.
