| Hey everyone! Does anyone know whether GW has some rules for Eldar Phantom Titans for 40k/Apocolypse? If not, will they have some soon? I recently saw the old Armorcast Phantom Titan, and I think it's an amazing model! Massive, and pretty darn cool! If they have any rules that are even remotely GW approved, I may consider finding myself one of these lovely things... Answers are much appreciated!

Blog Entries: 5 | Well, simply put, NO. however, with apoc out and the "meet before hand and plan your battle" caveat in the book. VDR rules can easily be designed. In fact i have the Las Vegas Gamers Club VDR rules for all eldar titans if you are interested.

| also keep tabs on the apocalypse section of the gw website - they will be adding more and more formations and such to it. but pretty much, use the warlord titan was a rough guide and just go for the eldar versions of all the weapon systems! basically, it should have a giant Sd weapon and at least 6-8 of the eldar versions of void shields. (IIRC, the imperial warlord has 8 or 9 shields! )cheers!

Blog Entries: 5 | eldar dont have void shields or any such. they just have an eldar holo field that grants a 4+ inv. save on each facing.

| Thanks guys! That would be awesome, Steve, thanks! I'll have a look around at some of the other non-legal rules made for them too, and maybe ask at my local GW what they think. If they would be happy for me using it there (with my opponents permission, of course!) then I'll go ahead and get it. Fingers crossed that GW will make some rules first, though! Also, if I do decide to get one, where is the best place to find them? They're quite rare, so I'm not sure where to look... there's the obvious one, Ebay, but after that, I don't know...

Blog Entries: 5 | to me, 1. drop quick 2. even epic they dont have a prism blaster their options should be a wing missile launcher or wing lance weapon, 3. Tremmor cannon seem WAAAAAYYYY out of line to me, a hellstorm template on any unit a 72" line hits????? 4. it is posted in the VDR, NO ELDAR VEHICLE CAN BE GIVEN AN ARMOR VALUE HIGHER THAN 12 fluff wise, there is a reason for that. ![]()

| Right, I've changed the AV to 12 all round, got rid of quick, and I've got rid of the Tremor cannon (that seemed a little crazy to me too!) I've left the Prism Blaster on, simply because the stats for it are quite good, even if it has to have a name change... What's it seem like now?

Blog Entries: 5 | they look good, but that thing is way under priced. I'd bump that number up to about 2300 pts. just me though.

| I'm not sure... it has a decent amount of firepower, but is also rather fragile... how many points is a Warlord Titan? It should be just a bit less than that....

Blog Entries: 4 | 2500 is warlord. All weapons included (all weapons cost the same, and you must choose 4 weapons, so the points doesn't change, ever)

Blog Entries: 4 | I don't know. As a titan it seems fitting, as concentrated beam weapons of eldar it does not. I can't decided lol. Smaller template + longer range perhaps? The warlord has a 20 ft weapon, and a 40ft missile...

| Hmm... maybe just change them to Heavy instead of ordnance, and keep same range and template size? The Eldar typically have a shorter range anyway, but more precise weapons, so it fits the background. How does that sound?
