Blog Entries: 5 |  Help the Lord Commanders PC! It needs.. MORE POWER! Righto... I know next to nothing on the innards of a computer.. Here are my specs.. I need you gentleman to help me make this into a machine that can run DoW above low quality, and not lag when I play Oblivion or SW: Galaxies.   HEEEEELLLPPP!!!!

| Well... that PC is about what mine has... I have less ram, but a better Graphics Card, and Oblivion runs great on my PC... However, I also use XP. I would suggest getting a new Graphics Gard (GeForce 7 or 8 Series) and another Gig of RAM. I don't know a lot about CPUs... so I'll let others advise you on that.

| Corporal  | Well you have 2 options: Over-Clocking and Buying a new CPU. There are hundreds of over-clocking tutorials on the web but be warned... if you can't keep it cool in it's new raging bull mindset then your whole PC could fry. If you want to upgrade you'll have to find out what Chipset your Motherboard has and then find the most powerful CPU that can fit it. To be brutally honest your Graphix card isn't much to brag about either...

| www.mwave.com great prices. up you vid card and get as much ram as your comp will run. its a 2xcore 64 so your prossesor is fine athalons run circles around intel even though it only says 2.0 gig its way faster.

| Erus, you're missing a good chunk of RAM. Replace it for better performance... and learn to restart your PC so it doesn't happen again! My computer's stats are under yours, but mine's without damage and runs as well as it did when I first built it in 2002. And it plays DoW flawlessly.  |

| I have 400 mb of ram (parent's got suckered by Best buy) Anyways if you go on newegg, use fatwallet.com or ebates.com and use my email thedevastator54@yahoo.com you'll get an extra 5 dollars if u put in my name. Those referral sites work good. Ebay, newegg, i've gotten a hundred dolalrs in a year (most from sign up bonuses though) |

| Ram was lost, inside is too dirty, my parents put it in this enclosed little area, and they don't believe in repairing computers or maintenence. To them you buy a computer then it breaks or you get a new one. Idiotic logic, i said you can get a good one, upgrade every so often and save cash. But they don't believe me and won't take it in for a tune up (reason is i wouldn't be allowed to open it up) |

I've seen it happen with some low-quality "stock" and supposedly "optimized" PCs bought directly from retailers (and not reliable constructors like FalconNW or Voodoo) They show up as wierd wierd numbers

| What do you guys think of AVA direct. They've gotten good reviews, have cheap prices, have a good reputation (sold to many government areas and other known companies), and they're the best computer store on resellerratings.com friend just bought one and he likes it avadirect.com |
