I am going to figure out how GW runs and learn some things.

Also get some starting money for my own business form working there.

and it's that kind of attidtude which keeps you from ever working for this company... sad pandas aren't allowed!

ikky; just remember a few things;
- be happy! no one is allowed to be a sad panda in this company... always show a positive attitude towards GW in general.
sure it's alright to voice your displeasure about certain things, like 'i was really hoping for more plastic in the dark elf spearhead', but NEVER! say things like, 'the new codex sucks balls!'

- know your product!

- be able to talk to anyone who walks into your store! this is easily the hardest part of the job... no one likes a salesman! but if you can open up bridges and be polite and energetic, then people are far more responsive than if you're just say, leaning on a table and you say, 'hey, what's up?' in a very bored voice!

I work 12 hours every sunday in a petrol station with pay at time and a half. That's €13 an hour or somewhere between $17 and $20 US.

Ok folks. I work 40 hours a week. I make more than anybody has mentioned as yet. But, I've been in the same line of work for 25 years, and I hold several US federal and State certifications. I also have a Master's degree in my skill area. How much does a GW Redshirt really make? Just curious, because it seems like a lot, from the way everyone is talking about it. Not trying to be a badass, just curious. Maybe it's time for a job change.

One more thing: Vlad, if you have to kiss so much ass, then why do you want to work for GW? Why not try to get a job at your friendly local game store, where you can do the same job, but in a more friendly environment? Or, you could learn a trade that pays much more than GW, so you can buy things without the discount, like a lot of the rest of us. Just wondering.

I honestly think GW will not pay what you are looking for.

I am only expecting 9-10$ an hour, but who knows.

I'll definetly let you know when I get the job.

well i can tell you the starting wage ikky....here in canada at least

Manager: 13.00 an hour starting and about 60 - 70% off products
Staff:9.00 and 30% discount to start then 50% after 3 months.

Also you get access to the store bit box so you can make customs when your bored (one of the Employees at my gw pulls it out to mock the rest of us and build stuff going awwww where so lucky to have this AND YOU GUYS GET NOTHING!)

(and for the record i know one guy who got the part time was hired partly due to ass kissing the manager even says so lol)

Darnit, i was hoping to get at least $16.00 per hour. Just kidding. I know how much GW employees make.

I make a bit more than that, but I have been in the plastics biz for a long time, and I have education to back me up. If nothing else, I can quit my current position and become a High School Teacher. Also, just kidding. I get more fringe benefits, such as free time on my Milling Machine, so I can make my own molds. And. I have a 401K account with $102,000 for my retirement. That's what us oldtimers think about...retirement...the days when we can challenge all you young bucks to day-long games, and whup some arse, or get our old arses handed to us. Either way, it's all fun!
