And I started to update my army, I've made the jump of using 48 3rd edition terminators to 20 new ones! Got me a new predator destructor! and replaced my 10 year old vindicator with a new sleek sexy import! WTH TURBO HANDLING!

well, No camera at the moment, need batteries.

I got like 1 grand for my graduation, and I decided to go buy some milliput at this model train store I know called the Loose Caboose. I've talked to the manager before about carrying warhammer like 2 months ago, and was I surprised to see all of it there when I walked in!

I spent about 140 bucks or so IIRC, not to mention I got to sneek little peeks at the new rulebook, and I got to see a real GW ordering catalogue!

The vindicator is on order right now, and will run me 30 bucks because I get a discount for purchasing over 100$.

The only thing is, he's only carrying orks, chaos and space marines currently. Though he has every incarnation of the newest dexes.

He told me he's going to slowly gain more and more so new players can take a diverse look at the races of 40k. He has a case of expertly painted minis on display too.

not to mention he's starting a tourney ring!!!!! I'll be able to live out my glory days against nubs and vets alike!

Sounds like a nice store. My store has 10% off all GW stuff and a nice seletion of minis but for some strange reason, they are missing most of the 40k codexes every time I visit

Its always nice to get termis what kind you get reg or assault? You better use some of that loot to buy some Batteries . It took me a while to replace all my old termis but i finally got them replaced, i still need/want around 20 more but that will be down the road a little.

so what are your doing (did you do) with all your old Termies? Are you just adding to your collection or swapping out?

I'm trying to sell them, but sadly no one wants those old things, I'm also trying to sell my vindicator and predator. The Pred is current (Or similar) back when they first switched to the newer rhino chassis. It has seen years of breaking, kicking and torment and I want to replace it with a less beaten up model.

Beaten up? How? It's based on the indestructable rhino chassis. I've seen rhinos dropped down stairs, stood on, placed on hot cookers and not a scratch did they recieve (well something did happen the last one but we just said it took a hit from a multi-melta at close range.)

Actually I've purchased several of the older metal terminators, and simply rebased them onto the larger bases, mixed them into my plastic terminators:

Voila - DarkAngel terminator army!

But aren't the older ones a lot smaller than the new termies?

I'm casting my own stands, that are not so "regular" in their height and levelness, so having various types and heights of terminators isn't so much a factor.

So I guess its all about presentation

Would I make one of them my Sergent or lieutenant, no, but you always need troopers, and these have been around for thousands of years, you should expect some variety.

Ah...Make the small ones stand on rocks. What material are you using for the bases?

Yeah the thing with the Predator is that it doesn't even look decent anymore, I've fixed it 12~15 times in the past 7 years (Still can't believe its that old) I just want to retire it or sell it to someone who can appreciate it.

Set up a shrine to the venerable machine's spirit. Or use it for spare parts.
