Blog Entries: 1  |  The Lame Name Game Right. So I'm bored, so let's all play a little game. Think of the stupidest name in 40k. It can be a unit type, a chapter name, a character name, or just anything related to 40k. Mine is the Salamanders. How much fear can you inspire with a name like that? Why not just name them the Newts?

| Fabius Bile always annoyed me, 'cause it reminds me of...well, a toilet for some reason. Abaddon the Despoiler, because I think adding "the [whatever]" to a name is just lame in general, plus the word Abaddon is a place not a thing/person (i.e., "a place of destruction; the depths of hell.") Also, the Emperor should have a real name, and Tau Pathfinders should've been named something else. If someone told me we were under attack by the forces of Khorne, I'd laugh at them and tell 'em to pass me the butter. Nurgle is rather silly as well, makes me think of gargling with mouthwash. Oh, and Space Marines: Ultramarines is rather redundant, don't you think? |

Seriously, isn`t fire a little redunded next to dragon? It strangely sounds OK, but when you think about it it`s idiotic Firewarriors aren`t that great either. I like they keep the Emperor annonymous though adds a little extra to the univers imho. It also makes the story of the empire take a more biblical turn
