It's pretty much the stupidest thing I've ever seen. With the nerfings of the Dark Angels codex, the Space Wolves will win the challenge every time. Anyone else think this was stupid? They'll have to wait 3 years till space wolves get nerfed and then it might be fair.

I also think that anyone picking a champion from codex space marines (apparently tyranids get to do this

) it retarded.

Anyone else think the GW is on crack? where do they come up with this stuff?

not really, its just one of those small games you do after battles, for example my dark eldar lord equipped with basically so much equipment that its illegal versus one of the dark angles special characters.

But doing it before the battle, that determines the outcome of your champion for the actual game is a bit silly...

besides its supposed to be about the space wolves fighting the dark angels for honour and removing the taint of defeat and the like.
why the hell would a brood lord for example, come out of his horde to fight a champion?

The Broodlord part is just for the poor saps without a Dark Angles or Space Wolf commander.

little scenarios like this are just small games that you could do with a friend that doesnt neccesarily play, and try to get him to play. like the battle for maccrage set.
just little things rules developers do when theyre bored =P
