Dang, guys, I'm at my wits end. I hate to do this, but I may not be around for awhile. I'm going to Tennessee to stay with my brother and dad, to find work. There is nothing here, and this house is giving the wife and I severe headaches and nausea. For those who don't know, here's the gist of it. We have a terrible sewage smell coming from underneath the house. The landlord won't fix it, I am not working, and the wife is on bedrest because of some complications with the pregnancy. Now, I ask you all, if you wanna help I NEED PHARMACY TECH BOOKS! I have a job at CVS if I can past the test in July, I have already spoke with the head pharmacist there. That is the only job around here, I've been looking everywhere for 3 months. I must go to Tenn. to look for work, we are about to lose everything we have, the wife is in no shape to work full time at her job. When I go to Tenn., I probably won't have access to a computer, which sucks, as I just made High Lord. I apologize to Icarus and the rest of the staff, but I must do what I have to. The next few days I'm gonna box up the rest of our stuff, the wife is gonna stay with her family, and take care of the cat and dog (the cat is diabetic, and has been throwing up again lately, I must get her back to the vet again very soon). I don't think I'll be gone too awful long, but just giving everyone the heads up. I'll let you all know when I leave. We are sinking here, and sinking quick. So I am forced to do this, I must find work and a place for us down there soon, the smell here is unbearable, and the bills are piling up.

Damn Buddy.....I'll look to what i can with the med books I have and my wife has. We are Both in medicine (im a paramedic/ER tech and shes a nurse/vet tech) and see if anything we have can help you.

Well, taking a little break from packing, just stopping in to see whats going on. Shoot, I wish I had a laptop to take with me. Seriously, I'm ready to leave this place and never look back. I never thought I'd leave Kentucky, but I don't really have an option. Besides, this scummy place is no where to raise a kid. Hopefully I'll find work quickly, so I can get my cpu fixed. I don't want to negelect my newfound duties!

I might have a line on a lap top for you to borrow while you are gone DK.. the spacebar doesn't work to well, but it does have a few USB ports so if you have a keyboard for it that would be helpful. The space bar does work it just doesn't work unless you hit it in the right spot (did that sound dirty to anyone else?) Any who let me dig around and see if I still have it. If so it is yours... oh it does have wireless built in so all you need is a starbucks or some such coffee shop that offers free wi-fi and you would be ready to go.

Well, you all have done alot for me already, so sincere thanks. I'm going tomorrow to check out a job, it's not to far from here. They sew military clothing, so hopefully, I can get on there. A few old friends of mine work there, so it's wortha shot. Very generous, Servo, just one problem. I don't think there is a Starbucks within 100 miles of here! Oh man, if you guys only knew what a backwards, scumbag town this is.

Well I found it and it does work just fine. So if you end up moving to where you don't have access to a computer PM your mailing adress and I will send it on down to you. I have been in a similar situation and friends helped me out of that stuff so I am just returning the favor to the universe.

Yeah, I know what you mean, brother. I'm feeling real depressed lately, that I've wasted my life in this craphole and have a dim future to look forward to. I'm usually pretty upbeat, but the stress is really getting to me. My main concern is the headaches and nausea both the wife and I are having. We've called everyone to try to get something about the sewage. Oh, there is a house behind us that a young couple with 3 kids moved in recently, owned by the same landlord. The kicker is both houses use the same septic system! The landlord is a scumbag, so he ain't gonna fix it anytime soon, and even if I had the money, I'd rather use it to move than to live in something he owns. I used to like this house, but he hasn't lifted one finger to do any repairs to it, and my wife lived here over 3 years before I moved in a few years back. Ah, I'm done whining about it. It's sink or swim time. So tomorrow I'll redouble my efforts to find work around here, if not I'll go stay with my family in Tenn. for a week or two, jobs are more plentiful there. Stupid bum knees won't let me do any heavy lifting, on top of the surgery. I'm a pretty strong fellow, but I'm still healing, and my knees are shot. So that kinda limits my choices.

Well, going tomorrow to search for work in Virginia. There is nothing here, I must have put in over 2 dozen apps for work in the last month around here. I keep calling, but noone has anything open. If I don't find work tomorrow, I'm packing my stuff and heading to Tenn., there are more jobs there. I still gotta find a place though. Man, I don't know when I'll get to talk to you all again. I've sold just about everything I own, and it looks like I might have to get rid of my 40k.
