Blog Entries: 4 | So are Flame-Throwers and Napalm... damn... lol joking. no seriously i am. Also bolters are .75cal SELF PROPELLED MASS REACTIVE explosive rounds... woah. some sources (IIRC) have even cited them to have a minimal sort of seeking ability. can't remember where from though. Oh and back in WWI tanks breakdowns werent even the biggest problems. THE ARMOUR FLAKES OFF AFTER A ROUND HITS IT! basically the gunners had to wear CHAINMAIL MASKS to prevent their face being too horribly burned and scored by the heated armour exploding off the inside.

| Confused and Enraged ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | WW1 tanks had such bad armour that most rifles could put a round straight through it. And they overheated something fierce, often the crew would have to stand in the middle of the crew compartment and weren't able to touch anything because all the surfaces were red-hot. I once saw a video clip of a WW1 tank advancing across no-mans land, and the little hatch on the back of one of the sponsons was wide open, you could see the tiny wooden stool the gunner had to sit on. |

Blog Entries: 1 | Another drawback of ww1 tanks was that they were slow, making them easy pickings for enemy artillery. There is something to be said of their shock value, especially when they first appeared. Germany only used one type during the war, a behemoth called the A7V. If I remember correctly, only 30 were made.

Blog Entries: 1 | Right, good ideal man. Why not throw Rough Riders in there instead of bikes?. Ok, I'm gonna start the thread over in Scenarios, and I'm thinking we should get around 5 to start and then flesh them out. Sound good to everyone? Firstly, post your ideals, then I'll pick the 5 I like best. If I don't pick your ideal this time, don't fret, it may be in the next five. I'll try to be fair and give everyone a chance to develop their ideal fully. Right, now go over there and post some ideals!!! (it will be called Terra Military History Nut's Scenario Thread!

Blog Entries: 4 | Just like we've gotten by the Geneva conventions for fire weapons by using Fuel Air Explosives......the fire doesn't need to even kill you, it will suck all of the oxygen out the air, what a way to go.

| hey who said you have to follow the rules when you can rewrite them or just skirt around them You know we prosecuted Japanese and Germans for war crimes when they used the same "Advanced Interogation" techniques we are using on suspected terrorist. but that is what we do
