   |  More bad news for GW Yep, more bad news for GW. They are closing 35 loss-making stores, and cutting back on Admin staff by about 10% in an attempt to save money. Their shares also fell by 67.50, from 327.5 to 260 in 1 day!!!!! Thats a loss of 20.61%. Blog Entries: 1 | funny story about this, i finally move into an area that has a gw and i'm all excited about it. so i walk into the place and tell the staff that i'm new in the area and wanna get involved the the local gaming scene, and they say that they're closing at the end of the week! how narked am i?!? just thought i'd share

| And when can they get rid of LOTR?  Oh well... all I can say is that I hope WoTC don't buy them out... somehow, I get the feeling that they'd totally rework the games and screw over everyone. Also, if GW goes, what will happen to the BL?! NOOOO!! Thats the best part of GW.

| GUH! yea it really is bad news...sigh. funny though, there are 3 GWs near me [and ikarus, etc.] that are within like 45 minutes of driving...strange. sigh! and yes, please just cut LOTR...UGHHH. sigh!

| everyone in the 40k universe wants LOTR to just DIE. however, its a thing for huge LOTR nerds and little kids who like the movies and see the 'toys' and want their parents to get it. but it makes sense for them to drop stores that are losing them money. |
