Blog Entries: 1  |  Musical Inspiration To all the fluff and story writers out there, do you use music for inspiration? If you do, what do you listen to (Songs, Genre). Do you listen to different types of music for different atmospheres, or even when writing for different characters? Well, I do. I also use different music for different atmospheres (lol, I've made a playlist on Media Player for it).

Blog Entries: 5 | I typically listen to celtic music for fluff writing, though I also have a HUGE mottled list of music from clasical, celtic, 60's and 70's and 80's and 90's rock, as well as metal (all kinds, except blip and grindcore), alternative music, local bands, grunge, etc...

Blog Entries: 1 | AC/DC rule!! But when I paint, I have a playlist of movie music. Gladiator, Braveheart, 300, Pathfinder, Alien and LotR. -Magic- Though I prefer AC/DC, metallica and such like when I'm not in geek mode! Though AC/DC could be given a geek title by some. Epic movie music goes well with 40K for painting and fluff (and gaming), though not Harry Potter.

Blog Entries: 4  | Well, if my inspiration is tied at all to songs, it's when the song inspires me to write something or add something. I don't go looking for it. It appears when I get to certain ones of my several dozen thousand songs and when I'm in a certain mood thinking of certain things, etc etc. It's REALLY chance-based. As far as songs for ambience/atmosphere, no not really anything specific I listen to anything that's on my iPod.

Blog Entries: 1 | I don't do a lot of writing, but when I'm modeling or reading somethin 40k related, I do like to listen to music that I link with the topic. For example, when I'm reading Wolfpacks Ties that Bind, I like to listen to Amon Amarth.
