 |  Off to jolly old England! Hello 40k Terra, I will be travelling to the United Kingdom on Saturday to study at the University of Sheffield! For those unfamiliar with England, Sheffield is located about the middle of the country, and is near Manchester. I may not have internet access for a week because I will not be in my official housing when I get there, and will be going through an orientation program. So I may not be to active for a little bit. And my posting time may be competing with my studying and drinking time after that, but I will still be an active member of the site (for better or worse!). However, the main reason for posting this is because I would like to meet some, if not all, of those residing in the UK while I'm there! I will not be bringing my army, unfortunately, but I would not mind meeting you and just going to your regular place of galaxy-burning, or doing whatever. If you would like to meet up at some point, just send me a PM or an e-mail (rosenadel@gmail.com) and I'll give you a cell number or better way to reach me when I get it. I look forward to many fun travels to meet you crazy folks and a pilgrimage to the birth-country of 40k! Cheers! -Rosenadel

Yes the pub can be a way of life over here, but so are yob culture, ASBO's, teenage drinking, complaining about the weather and drinking tea! You do like tea dont you..... | enjoy your travels & though perhaps not so much, your studies! i've been to england a couple of times myself, the scenery is generally quite lovely, (keep in mind as a canuck i'm used to seeing only white so green is rather pretty!) the beer is much stronger, though it tends to be served at room temp... hobgoblin is a great choice if you fancy a dark ale btw! you take your life into your own hands when trying to cross the street! i think it's mandetory that drives actually aim for you?! macdonald's is everywhere. british coffee is to be avoided like the plague. sorry lads, but i've never, ever even smelled anything so strong! mind you, it'd be a great choice for an all-night cram before exams... well, have fun! cheers!

 | Have fun at uni! What you studying? I'm actually going to university in Stoke-on-Trent which is 30 miles away. You may also be interested to know that that Warhammer World, games workshop HQ is only about 25 miles away from where you are! Just look on the bottom left of your codex on the back for the address.
