i feel your pain brother! we had about 15cm of snow back on thursday followed by a lovely layer of freezing rain, then rain, then a wee bit more freezing rain & sleet...
i live on a major grade school bus route, so of corse there's absolutely no reason what-so-ever for the damn city to ever plow our street!

honestly, we consider ourselves blessed if we see a plow within 24 hours of a storm ending! (and of course burlington is the major transfer point between the QEW toronto - niagra & 403 hamilton corridor so the city always waits till after at least 30+cm have fallen before doing anything about the streets )

well we have a snow shovelling service
you know those guys with the CAT dozers?
but they dont come till like 12 midnight on big snow days...

and i remember last time toronto had huge snow storm:
