A lot of people have said that about my son. I just don't want to mooch off my kid, which I have seen happen far too often. I'm just going to raise him as the Celtic Barbarian he should be.

It needs a touch up, as after healing some lines aren't totally even, etc... But I wanted done in a traditional style.. I have 12 or so all told, planned in the same style, all about my body... And the one that should cover my chest/breast area will hopefully be done with actual woad.. Though the crap is expsensive..

The tattoos I have planned aren't at random though.. Each one relates to my own spirituality, and has a signifigance, as the dedication line might tell you. Seanathair means 'grandfather' in the old Irish Gaelic, and the boar is a stubborn, unyielding, and fierce animal that is devoted to it's family to the point the patriarch will often draw death down on himself to let his mates and children escape...

i love to hear that. i know so many people who've got tattoos because they were "cool" or "they liked the colours" and it just makes me sad. it's not my place to tell them what to do, but i completely tattoos should involve great thought and personal significance. to tell a story about yourself.

everything i've gotten represents something very dear to me, or tells a tale of my life, or past and mean the world to me. i've many many more to get! as soon as 40k stops taking all my money, i can do that. hah!

Mine costs $140... Thankfully, my friend does me a very good price for it, at least compare to other shops locally. It covers a good 3"x4" or large of my shoulder.. 3/4 the meat of it, so to speak..

Here's one I just got... It's the Brotherhood knot, my brother and I got them before he left for sub duty again. I've got an awesome one planned in a couple weeks, the artist and I have been collaborating for a month on it, and I have started coming up with ideas for a back mural.

i've been lucky myself, i worked at a shop for a long time as the "shop b**ch" haha and i have my left leg from kneecap to ankle sleeved, a piece on my right thigh and the back of my neck, for FREEEEEE.

got a great deal on some other stuff and paid a bunch for some other other stuff. it's all great fun.
