| Personally I kind of don't see the point in that unless they are marching across an open battle field, as it wouldn't be ass effective in a jungle in my opinion, just too bulky.

| the dragonskin is the newest in personal armor its like carapace you know what guardsman wear its called dragonskin because it uses overlapping plates of kevlar and mesh over ceramic plates it looks like scales the way its layerd uuuuuu uuuuu uuuuuu that type of thing it can stop a 7.62 round cold its even been tested on grenades in the kill sone and no shrapnel made it through but the rest of the body will suffer its the best there is right now and its slowly making its way into service

Blog Entries: 5 | My uncle and his squad were issued it along with the new X8 with the gun cam. He says the damned gun feels like a toy (he used to play IG way back when) and that if he had a friggin power sword he'd feel like a commissar. Overall, his impressions with the armor are resoundingly well liked. Only complaint is it is a little hotter than his regular issue in the heat, but not enough to make him ***** any more than usual. I just hope he doesn't have a reason to test it's bullet stopping power!

| interesting from kevlar to cup cakes the world is changing rpaidly still i wish we had 75cal rounds fired from boltguns, and earth looked more like coruscant then tht would be cool. Or maybe an interstellar warship...........

Blog Entries: 5 | Termy Armour is, I'm afraid, QUITE far off. So is 0.75 cal armour piercing mass reactive self propelled explosive rounds and a machine gun that supports them.
