Hey, if I didn't have 40k, I'd probably be in a straight jacket or prison by now! Thanks Munkey, I'll keep em coming!

My condolances, friend. I know the feeling. Both my grandfathers passed a few years back, one I was around alot, the other not so much. I was close to both though, and I still miss them. I still wish I had more time with them both. To this day, I'll go fishing in the river beside my granpa's (on my dad's side) house, and look for him to be sitting on the front porch in his rocking chair, asking me did I catch them all. He passed about 4 years ago, and I still anticipate him being there. They are never really gone, if they are in our hearts and our thoughts. My other grandpa was a large man, and I really hadn't seen him much when he got sick, he was sick for a long time. I didn't get to see him much, but I spent all day with him the day before he passed. I hadn't seen him in some time, and he looked like a different person. He was so frail. He never complained though, and when something bad happened, he'd say "Well bless the Lord anyway". That gives me a little chuckle still when I think about it. Brings a smile to my face. Good words to live by, I think. Well, some better news, we might have found us a place, although we're still thinking about going to Tenn. Also, I'm taking the pharmacy tech test in July (they only give it 3 times a year) and my best friend's mom is hooking me up with the books and helping me study. The wife is seriously considering doing the same. No worries LC, when I get on my feet, I'm gonna make the trip to visit ya. Hopefully we can go watch a football game sometime, then play some 40k. Might even talk you into going to watch Wildcat basketball, hehe. Hey, you still going to Adepticon? Wish I could make the trip, but so much is going on right now. To beat it all, my stepdad fell while working and screwed his leg up, they had to pop his knee back in place at the hospital yesterday, and it looks bad. Man, my user title should be "The Unlucky", lol!

I am so glad to hear that things seem to be on the up swing for you man. If you ever make it to the Minnesota region I can put you and the wife up for a few days. I have an extra bedroom that doesn't get much use right now. Or if you guys move out here we have plenty of places hiring currently. I know it is a long way, but I am just saying. Any who on to more realistic goals. Can't wait for our battles to get under way on the BF. I have a feeling we are going to mop up!

Keep us updated and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Even though my Girlfriend isn't a Mini gamer she kinda read a little of your orginal post over my shoulder. She actually asked about that poor guy with the heart of gold and how he was doing the other day. lol she is such a sweetheart. I can't wait to give her the good news!

Servo

and remember Keep on Keeping on!

Me? Heart of gold? Hmmm. How much is gold a pound, how much does a heart weigh, and where do I get a cheap replacement heart? That would be great, Munkey, I'd like to meet you all. Oh, sad but funny news. *Sobs* Wife said Space Wolves are cooler than Black Legion *starts looking in yellow pages for good divorce lawyer*

She won't talk like that when she gets DRAGON HEART PUUNNNCCHHH! Hehehe. I don't know how she puts up with me, really. I'm always annoying here with stuff like that. Honk Kong Phooey chop is my fave though. We're always horseplaying, but not so much recently. She's pretty frickin rough, and plays dirty, so I gotta watch out. Getting the pharm tech books this week, so I'm gonna study my butt off, I like to research anyway. So maybe things will get better soon.

sorry to hear about your loss warchild..................

best advice i've had in ages

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 glasses of wine...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two glasses of wine from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things; your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favourite passions; things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.' The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else; the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.'
'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. Do one more run down the ski slope. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first; the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the wine represented.
The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of glasses of wine with a friend!'
