Blog Entries: 3     |  Where I go each summer Well, season passes are up for sale, and fabrics being bought. I'm even eying chainmail to arm myself with. | Re: Where I go each summer i've got some flat plate chainmail (think fish scales)made out of ally (i think it was used as a butchers apron)..it's in my garage , i made it into a vest ,i used to wear it out on certain occasions when i thought i needed it ........ (don't ask,it was a long time ago )... |

Commonly used by crusaders, arabs, and eastern peoples due to remarkably light weight in comparsion to chainmail, yet just as good slice protection, and better stab guarding. It's sorta the step between chain and plate, imho. If you still have, and depending on the condition of it, I might just nab that vest.
