| Conscript ![]() | Ok, im new to playing 40k i understand something but i see all these conversions and modfied units, where do you guys get the rules to do this? I was looking to modify a writhlord kinda like inot a sniper is there any way that i could do this? Like maybe give him different rules a differnt weapon with a longer range or osmething along those lines, i was wondering if this was possible? |

| first what is a writhlord. second all of the units in an army fuffil spesific roles. so it is quiet possible that the writhlord does not need to be a sniper.

| Conscript ![]() | That would be my keyboards a button not working right because i need a new one and have to push it down harder. Wraithlord*** I do understand that each eldar unti has a specific role. Let me see if i can explain this a bit better... I guess id be more looking towrds changing a gun, the Bright Lance. Is it possible for me to increase the range of the bright lance, and if so what do i need to do? Also, is there a specail rule maybe i could give him so he can target a certain unit in a squad? |

| i dont think that any gun can target a specific man in a unit also if you increase the range of a weapon you start to make the game unfare so you would have to equal it by droping its strenght or ap or some thing like that oh and sorry if i sounded angry i have very little idae about the units of imperial armour books and other forces that i dont play

| sadly you can not do any of the things you asked with out working a deal with your oppenent. let say if you wanted to make a wraithlord a sniper with the brightlance you would have to give up something to equal out the extended range. like if you wanted to add 6-12 inches on the range i would suggest lowering his armour value. the rules we create are simply for fun and can not be used in rogue or official tournaments.

| you can always model your wraithlord to be holding his/its brightlance in both hands... actually this has become quite a popular conversion! but no - unless you VDR, (Vehicle Design Rules), a model you cannot change any stats from how they're listed in the codex! (otherwise we'd get such horrid things as assault 3 'rending' shuriken catapults and 'blast' bolters!!! )the VDR rules are found in the old chapter approved books. you might have some luck trying to find a copy of those on e-bay? and honstly, don't worry about needing bigger guns as eldar are pretty darn good at killing things as it is! cheers!
