| IM thinking about doing a conversion on the Deamon Prince Angron. Im not sure what model to start with. Im currently think about the Forgeworld Bloodthirster. i know hes large, but would be really cool if I could pull it off, and I think I could. Its facial features are somewhat human, and hes the size of what I think a deamon prince Primarch would be. what do you guys think? |

| I think that would be the most immense conversion ever and if you were able to pull it off you'd quickly be propelled into the high rep category |

| Well I just posted a pic last night of my conversion skills, its a deamon prince of Slaanesh I did a few years ago. I gave it an "old school" feel to it. For all you veterans out there, let me know what ya think of it. Its very highly converted. as soon as I get a new photo editing software, Ill post my Deathwatch Librarian. He rocks, has atleast 20+ item conversions on him. |

| Conscript ![]() | would you be intending on changing anything much on the model? i just worry it will look too much like a greater daemon and not a daemon prince if you dont do much to it. and true, lots of rep coming your way when you get this done ![]() |

| Well for thos elooking for my Slaanesh DP, go to gallery>Newest uploads> should be 2nd row down in the middle. Its green and pink. small pic on side shows model unprimed. As for how much i would convert, It would be alot. I jsut looked at the pic on FW. I would change the pose, add a "chain" halbred weapon, Id also take away the big horns near the face, and remodel the face to be a little more human. I would also add alot of cybernetics and use dreads/chains for hair. These are just my first thoughts, and there will probably be many more to come. I like the pic from the pre-heresy graphic books (the last one just after Horus is slain, just as he is looking back at the palace) I think. Also on that note, I will definately like doing a new conversion showing Fulgrim with his new body, I believe it shows a pic of him in the beginning of the same book, but that is still on the brainstorming side. |

| the age of reptiles ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yes ! haha please find them. i think it would be good if you just linked/pasted the images into this thread, just so we can see what you've done before. as for the bloodthirster, i'm not really sure how you could princ-ify him. it's definitely a challenging project ...haha i don't know what i'm saying anymore. this will be SWEET ! :] lookin forward to seeing this project :]

Blog Entries: 1 | You could go with the FW Bloodthirster, or you could try heavily converting standard GW models. For example, a LotR plastic Balrog + a Warhammer Greater Daemon of Khorne + a 40K Chaos Daemon Prince = ![]() Also, there might be some cool new bits when the new Daemon range is released. |

| I would like to point out before you start constructing a huge chain halberd, that Post(during)-heresy Daemon Prince Angron wielded an Iron Rune Sword. |

| Ya Im waiting on that. I have a huge conversion that has been a few years in the making, as I got better green stuffing, not Im just waiting for new legs as the reg. DP legs are too small and Id hate to make new ones just to have them come out in a plastic daemon. When i get my camera working I will post him, I can guarantee youve never seen anything like him... Also, thx for the suggestion, but out of all the GW minis, I especially cant stand the Balrog, like his wings, but that is it.. I thought Angron always wielded a huge Glaive type chain weapon. But the rune sword does come to mind now that you said something, thank you, I will research it. Last edited by crimslain; 03-26-2008 at 12:26 PM. |

| Corporal ![]() ![]() | I'd recommend if you do decide to do this, use pieces from the Inquisitor Range. They have Space Marine upgrades... perhaps GS some power armor and use the power cell pack for the back of it. Add a LOT of wiring to the head, as pictures of Angron Pre- and Post- Heresy show him with a lot of wires coming out of his head. Keep the axe hand but add a giant Plasma Pistol in the other, perhaps... stuff like this. Even add upon the existing axe and make it into a power glaive, I believe he has a chainaxe/power glaive hybrid weapon.
