new 1500pts staff project

well, as a new initative, all of our store's staff our going to build a full 1500pts army within no more than 60 days!
so, to help me get over my habbit of being far too much of a perfectionist, i've chosen something "easy" - an emperor's children warband! black, pink & gold! 3 simple colours... oh, and no conversions for this one either...

anyways, this is the list i've got planned out, hopefully it's not all that bad?! of corse, there's still the issue with me and dice in the end...

Lord Command Elphias Sinn's Host of Darkness

HQ: Lord Commander Elphias, Chaos Sorcerer w/Force weapon, Bolt pistol, Frag & Krak grenades.

Troops: Squad Ravage; 1x Noise Marine w/Blastmaster
- 5x Emperor’s Children w/Bolter, Bolt pistol, CCW, Frag & Krak grenades.

Troops: Squad Darius; Aspiring Champion Darius w/Combi-plasma gun, Power fist.
- 1x Marine w/Icon of Slaanesh
- 2x Marines w/Plasma guns
- 9x Marines w/Bolt pistol, Bolter, CCW, Frag & Krak grenades.

Fast Attack: Squad Asmodaius; Aspiring Champion Asmodaius w/Pair of Lightning Claws.
- 1x Raptor w/Icon of Slaanesh
- 2x Raptors w/Flamer

Fast Attack: Squad Harbringer; 2x Raptors w/Meltagun
- 4x Raptors w/Bolt pistol, CCW, Frag & Krak grenades.

i AM cursed!!! tends to happen when you're a real life heretic... (stupid ancestors rebelling against the pope himself and getting the entire family excomunicated!>.<)

and everyone is taking part... we've failed misserably on our last couple of 'staff initatives', so this one will carry an actual punishment for those who don't finish.

now simply play 'the waiting game' for my bitz order...

you have ot do at least ONE convertison..its not an army otherwise. jsut give th sorceror a snake body and its done. woohoo easy and looks good. and all armies must have one converstion its a law in duck world

buying drinks for everyone who finishes... a fate far, far worse than the 79 baneblade punishment for the one guy who failed the last 'paint or die'!

Raikiri: i just don't think i'll have time for any conversions... besides, i've been told to do a 'stock' army as i have a very bad habbit of always going way 'over the top' with everything! (i'm the idiot who actually did green stuff 100 berets for their guard army!)
and right now i'm fully converting 106 thousands sons to fit into a pre-heresy/heresy-era force!

so yep, simple does it this time 'round...
and i have to paint pink! i've never painted anything pink before... plus it's what's really drawn me to the party boys - outlandish yet leathal!

my stores staff did this....kinda....they got to keep how ever many blood angels they could paint in Five Hours -.- There Freaking RED! and just RED! so they each basically got 250 bucks of marines and transports for free!!!!

like the list stitch. squads of 6 or multiples of 6 is a nice touch though i'm a bit disappointed to see only 2 sonic weapons oh well whatever floats yur boat

erm... i don't know wookie maths like you do my hairy friend, but in the sonic weaponry department, i've got;
1x doom siren
1x blastmaster
11x sonic blasters!

sure it's only 2 squads of 'actual noise marines... but then, not all of the emp's emo kids have become obessed with 'eavy metal 24/7!

and yes... i know... but i haven't figured out how to load the digi-pics disc onto the comp yet?! (not to mention i've been too damn busy playing FFIV for the nintendo DS!>.<)

i've actually been thinking over the past couple of days about swaping out the 2nd raptor squad w/2 meltaguns, for the following;
2x termie champs w/combi-melta & power toy
1x termie champ w/combi-melta & chainfist.
deep strike away let fly!

basically, i want to find some way of including termies really, really badly!
