RT outcome today

Today I took place in an RT at my local shop. I took my thousand sons and just hoped to win a game and do something good with them. I got there and my first opponent was this guy pat. He was playing his killer Alpha Legion army at the RT. This army had only ever lost like 3 total times out of 40 some games. When I heard who I was playing, I was freaked! Not a good opponent to start against. So we played the game and I ended up getting a massacre against him (I had 1150 out of 1850 left and he was completely annihilated!) and the first time I ever beat this guy! Second round of the RT, I played an Iron Warriors army. I thought, not cool, all those heavy weapons are gonna kill me! Well, as the scenario was funky, we only started with compulsary troops on the board. That, along with my opponents bad rolling and a greater demon having a field day, I won my second game! In my final game, I played against an Imp Guard army with a ton of heavy weapons! We ended up having a draw in that game, but just barely! Well, after a 2 0 1 record, I thought i had the RT in the bag, but alas, due to overall points, I took second overall to Word Bearer 81007 who brought his word bearers who went 1 0 2 in his games, scoring 3 less battle points than I did and then beating me in painting because his entire army was painted and I had an unpainted squad of Thousand Sons! So, I took best general with the most battle points and Word Bearers 81007 took overall scoring a total of 61 out of a possible 72 and I scored 59 out of a possible 72! That was my best showing ever at an RT and am really looking forward to next months tourney!

The Model of the day is something I do at the end of all my Rt's where I keep track of how well all my models did. My model of the day today had to be my greater demon. He paid for his points twice over in every game I played and just really killed my opponents very well! On a lighter note, I have a model with only one leg. He is known as Mr. One Leg at my shop and I have done some things with him and when I shoot with him, I always roll him seperate. Today, he had a body count of 12 CSM's and 10 Imperial guardsmen for all of his games combined!

@MSguardsmen, I played 3 veteran gamers, guys who I have known for several years and have probably 3 years each on me on how long they have been playing!

@master of weirdness, I did receive a mutation, I got the Knights of Minas Tirith I needed to finish off my Lord of the Rings army!

hmm players loosing only 3 out of 40 games. this just doesnt ever make since. we were all beginners in the beginning and were getting the snot beaten out of us. im sorry but theres some larege amounts of exxagerating (i know i misspelled. cant figure out the real spelling)


im sorry i just really hate it when people start to enlarge the truth.
