| High Lord of Terra ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would definately recomend getting some specail weapons for those guys and maybe picking up some Beastmen Bitz (great for converting regular Chaos Marines into Plauge Marines). I know the standard Tourny list includes some Nurgle Bikers (Toughness 6! is amazing). Other than that you have to let us know what direction you want to go with this army and we can help from there. As for the Zombies, I think the only thing out right now is an Apocalypse Datasheet. witch the rules can be found Right Here Hope that helps, Servo |

| Corporal ![]() ![]() | Well, as far as heavy armor, serving what purpose? Anti-armor or anti-personnel?

| High Lord of Terra ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good man, good man. Nurgle is great at hunkering down and laying down a decent amount of fire power and being almost impossible to remove from where ever they are. 3+ armour save, Toughness 5 and 'Feel No Pain' make them rock solid choice for an army. Well if you want fire power than I would suggest not going with Bikers and thinking about Terminators instead than. Typhus and a retinue of Terminators all at Toughness 5 with Term. Armour is nasty. as for good units for making your own solid gunline; - havocs w/icon of nurgle. with T5 and some good cover to hunker into, they can be a real pain to remove unless your opponent dedicated the bigger guns to singling them out! - plague marines. your basic fromt line troops. they're stupidly resilient and can take upto two special weapons... it takes alot of the enemy's firepower to remove them as well! - terminators w/icon of nurgle. a solid elite unit that while very pts-heavy, will still take on almost as much punishment as the plague marines themselves! (and sometimes more due to their added 5+ invulnerable save! )also, they can work a secondary assault unit thanks to all those power weapons/fist you can get with them... hope this helps, cheers!

| I like Oblts, although they cant carry an icon or a mark, they are still in my opinion worth taking if you are looking for fire power. I run 2 of them in my tournament list with 6 termies and a unit of 4 bikes. Here is a pic of my one finished oblit. ![]() ![]()

| Corporal ![]() ![]() | For anti-armor, go tank heavy. If I'm against an enemy with a lot of armored vehicles or weapons, I'll break out my 2 Dreadnaughts, Predator, a Vindicator, and Defiler. Anti-personnel is a bit different. A dread isn't really needed for this, although having one go psycho and mow down scores of bugs is quite amusing . Vindicators are great due to their high strength blast when dealing with MEQ, but their range makes them easy for long range enemies to pick off. Defilers are also good for this situation. You can also set a Predator up for anti-infantry, and they will do quite well.As far as troops, in both cases, Terminators are always well loved. The only problem is, they're expensive and a unit of anything rending will kill them. 5+ Inv is nice, but unlikely you'll get it. Always have at least one reaper autocannon, the rest I tool out with combi-weapons. I don't really use Havocs, and with the ability to have 2 special weapons in a squad, they're not really needed. I'll rarely use a flamer, depending mostly on the enemy. Bugs and IG, flamers are great. MEQ, not so much. Meltas can be effective, but the problem is you have to be within 12" to use it, rendering it in most of my games useless until the last rounds. Plasma guns... A++! Yes, you can overheat, but you still get your armor save, so it's not AS bad. I think in all the games I've played, I've only lost 2 marines to Overheating. Same range as the rest of your squad, and can deal out death to most anything. I exclusively use Plague Marines. No, it's not much variety, but it's tried and true. Death Guard is an attrition army. You use terrain to your advantage and force your enemy to come to you, and you're almost guaranteed to win. Of course, don't do this with Tau or some tooled armies. For armies excelling in range, I recommend mostly infantry, if not all. This forces heavy gun armies like Tau to pick and choose troops with rail guns and such, making the weapon a waste in the long run. Use your terrain to your advantage and bring the fight to them. Even if you get within 24" with your infantry, Deep Strike Terminators in the enemy's rear is usually devastating and can send their army into... Chaos.

| if your talking about in general you can have 3 choices (i bet you knew that) in terms of chaos you have the dreadnoughts, the defilers, the predators, and the vindicator, and the havoc squad.

| i personally like the defiler and the vindicator sense you can take melta guns in you basic nurgle squad. and on another note it doesn't hurt to throw you plague marines in a rhino with chaos there cheap and come with smoke launchers which usually keeps them alive that first turn when the surge forward, and doing this will get closer to the enemy which is good for the melta's.
