Blog Entries: 4 |  Free Codex From GW I know this is covered in another thread but just so all of us can know Games Workshop will be publishing the new "free" Blood Angels Codex online as a PDF at www.games-workshop.co.uk/bloodangels Its not up yet but keep your eyes on it as it will be over the next few days!! |

| yea it is kind of a bummer for those people who did buy it. i was talking to an owner of a private shop the other day, and he was going on about how anything published in WD eventually finds its way to the internet. it is a shame indeed. well at least those people will have shiny, nicely printed versions of the codex :] i am also looking forward to seeing it, i only glanced at it for a moment when i got the chance. thanks for the post! -ant

| I was personally disappointed. Despite the fact that I have the two WDs and thus they're already printed, I think it iunderhanded and stupid. The Blood Angels are not even getting their own Codex book. At least not for a while. Jervis Johnson explained that this is because it would take longer, but I think that's no excuse. They shouldn't even be working on DA and BA. Or Chaos (which doesn't need a huge rules change for one, and two they're killing them...). They should do Orks, or Dark Eldar. If they absolutely have do so an SM chapter, it should be Space Wolves. I just hope SW don't get the BA and DA treatment... they'd better not have to do the combat squads. Sorry for the rant.

| dark eldar also dont really need that much of a rule change, just a streamline. more so then BA or chaos, but still. they are still a viable army, but releasing a codex and lots of publicity for them would make more people play em |

| i don't know how much DE needs a change: i've glanced through the codex once or twice, but only for a moment. however, it is definitely true that they need a new codex with better pictures than the current one: DE codex looks like crap, i'm sorry..haha. i think orks definitely should be updated first though, around where i've been it seems that orks are still a relatively common army, while DE is extremely rare. just a thought..
