1700pts of slightly evil 'counts as' dark angels

well, here's the DA version of my radical space marines... basically, this is the list for when i want devies & the rather tasty librarian. (who's pointy death stick is of corse really a daemon weapon!)
some of the selection is of corse constrained by wanting to build 2 lists from 1 general collection, but hopefully the list can still provide a decent challenge...

looks good all around!
low numbers though. y dont the terminators have assault cannons? usually the way to go with termies.

in the devestator squad, though, y do they have a lascannon? it seems that with the meltas you want them sprinting toward enemy armour, and the lascannon wouldnt see much use. i would swap it with another melta...

finally, thats a weird points total. is this for a tournament? otherwise, i would expand to 1750 or 2000.

yes, low model means it might actually get done!
i went with the heavy flamer for the following reasons;
a) it's dirt cheap!
b) heavy flamers are brutal when deployed via deep strike
c) i like to be different... (and i'm rather sick of ass-can brokenness so i've only gone with the one!)

as they're 10 strong, the devies will break down into 2 combat squads;
squad A w/2 multi-meltas joins the front line
squad B w/lascannon sits in my deployment zone, contesting it and sniping away with 4 ablaitive wounds on the big gun!

1700 is the tournament standard in canada. what can i say, we're nutty!
