I need your Help Brothers! - 40K Terra

Its a rather simple problem and Im sure you guys already know the answer. Well seeing how in the new codex the price of a lascannon went up while the plasma cannon stayed teh same (I think). Anyways I was thinking if I should use plasma cannons in my tactical squads instead of lascannons and with points left over mount them in rhinos (since the rhino went down as well).

hmm plasma over the las. this is difficult. the plasma cannon is definetly something to be terrified about however there is still the chance of killing yourself.

i would say take the lascannon just because its safer and will destroy all but the most powerful opponents. the plasma cannon is a little riskier with the get hot.

Lets see, cheaper weapon that fries own guy and can't hurt armor value 14, or expensive weapon that can bust any armor in the game. Hmm, I just don't know.
Seriously, I seldom play plasma cannons unless I am playing somebody who likes deep striking terminators. A plasma cannon does wonders for eradicating Terminators when the are bunched up like that. Other wise though, it is always the lascannon for me.
