I was wondering how everyone else uses their heros/lords.

1. What army do you play?
2. Do you go all Wizards?
3. How do you equip your heros/lords?
4. Are all your heros/lords mounted?
5. Do you spend all 50/100 of your magic allowance?
6. Do you take a Battle Standard Bearer?
7. Do your heros/lords ride monsters?
8. And how well do they perform?

As I normally do, I will go first.

1. I play Ogre Kingdom (gots ta love dem Ogres/Ogryns)
2. I hate using wizards. I use no wizards. Not even Butchers. I take all Bruisers.
3. All of my Heros are made for taking hits and surviving. Heavy armor, ironfist, magic gut plate, and mawseeker. T6 2+ Sv.
4. None of my heros/lords are mounted.
5. I spend what i need. Mawseeker on every person and a magic gut plate on every person. Its about 30~40 pts.
6. I take a Battle Standard Bearer, but he doesnt take a Magic Banner. I usually give him a Ward save.
7. None of my heros/lords ride monsters. Although making them all ride Rhinoxen is tempting.
8. They preform well, but my general always has the worst luck and dies first. Sometimes he is the only death on my side. My Bruisers (hero) can take a unit in a fight and win usually. Even against Dwarfs and other "hard" units.

1. I play high elves (but i have also played orge kingdoms).
2. i normaly bring two Wizards (at 3k or more i'd bring more)
3. depends on my opponate and point level, but for my noble/pronce i noramly give them dragon armour, shield, some type of ward save and great weapon or if i have the points left over a magic weapon. for my magics it's noramly scroll(s) and another arcane item.
4. i really have yet to use a mounted Characters other then the dragon mage (which was only once), but that will probly change in the future.
5. fore nobles/princes not always, but for mages almost always.
6. i have yet to do so, althou i might do so soon.
7. again not yet, but hopefully i will try it soon
8. normaly very well, it dependes on how the dice roll. but they almost always earn there points back.

1. I play High Elves and Ogres
2. I tend to divide the number of allowed characters in half. I have that many wizards.
3. I give them just enough to do the job I have for them. I love to save points wherever I can and field another unit. Tyrant only has Tenderizer and I have a High Elf hero whose only purpose is to carry a great weapon and a 15 point magic item that gives him and his unit magical attacks.
4. I have one High Elf with Reaver Bow on a chariot.
5. Rarely.
6. Rarely.
7. Almost never.
8. Pretty poorly but dice rolls weren't my friend.

1. Dwarfs...beer and beards all the way
2. I'd bring a runesmith to help against magic. Have an Anvil of doom but haven't had a chance to use it yet.
3. A nice mix of runic weapons and armour.
4. No mounts for me.
5. I'd rarely spend more than 80%
6. Don't have one modeled.
7. No monsters.

3. to either do mass dmg or annihilate enemy characters
4. STAR DRAGON BIOTCHES. (beat that)
5. always for my prince and rarely on the mages
6, no but i have a nicely painted one that you can see in my introduction (pst. go there and look!)
