here is some more of my templars with marshal Maxwel,battel brother tailbor and my almost finsished land speeder! enjoe!

some nice table-top minis there!

a few things to try out though;

a) use mechrite red as a basecaot for all your reds! you can still see alot of the black showing through the scab red/blood red areas.
if you hit the robes and such first with mechrite, you'll get a much more even coat when you go over them with your chosen reds!

b) gold is kinda a sucky colour in terms of pigment strength... whenever i paint gold myself i always first basecoat those areas with a 50/50 mix of scorched brown/shining gold, and then go over that with a coat of strait shining gold! again, gives a nice flat coverage that's good and even

thanks stich i have ran out of m red and due to GW takeing all my money so it willl have to be re done but you know for the moment iam happy with my painting, what does every one think of the almost completed land speeder?

The speeders pretty cool kinda reminds me of the old Imperial speeders, overall your minis look pretty good, i like your paint scheme. You gotta base them it will def add alot to them. Otherwise they are real nice.

actually, the first thing that poped into my head when i saw the converted speeder was, 'hey cool, it looks like a heresy-era jetbike!'

I was looking at these again and was thinking if you added a little ink wash here and there, like on your gold and silver it would def give the parts some depth.
Any prog on these guys?

well the speeder had some problems staying up so i had to change a few things the first 5 man squad is one man away from being done so far...

+rep for doing crazy things with an assault cannon and bike. I love these models, they're brilliantly painted! My Templars were done a while ago- 3 years and are 'I can't use bad words on here'.
