Well, basically for 15 pts extra, you upgrade your "basic" Reclusiarch chaplain to have +1 W and +1 Ld, which is pretty darn good!

Master of Sanctity is a higher rank than Reclusiarch, and as such, has higher stats, which for the points, is a good deal.

actually, you can have 4;

2x ruclusiarch as HQ choices
2x command squad which may include a further attached reclusiarch.

of corse, that's a veritable hoard of pts you're sinking into a total of 4 IC's who are not scoring units, so it's not really the most tactically sound move!

and i find there's little reason to go for the more expensive master of sanctity... angain, that's 15 extra pts you're spending on a non-scoring model! i'd rather sink those pts into another initiate who may just very well end up winning me a game because he's a scoring model!

cheers!

True, but a large portion of us play just kill 'em all games!

Even if you are playing a game with an objective other than that, your opponent will be hard pressed to accomplish it when your only objective is to kill as many enemy units as possible!

Really? When I play, I prefer, at the least, to play a cleanse mission, at Gamma level rules...

I said a large portion. Not all.

I didn't imply all... I just thought that was surpising... as I like to have at least a few tactics...

edit: that sounds wrong. WHat I meant was that I prefer to have some guiding objective rather than... he placed his Hive Tyrant there... so I place my dreadnought here... and he'll inflitrate his broodlord there... so I'll place my HB squad here..."
