Sword Brethen?

I'm have problems figuring out whether or not i was to add a squad of Sword Brethen to my army. Can any tell me the Pros and Cons of this Unit

pros;
- upto 1 power toy + 1 power fist or pair of lightning claws.
- terminator honours for everyone
- storm shield or combat shield options
- veteran skills - typically furious assault being popular for that S5/I5 charge! though infiltrate is equally handy
- excellent unit to stick your castellan/marshal into

cons;
- with all the options, they're dead pricey!
- still need a transport to get them to the fight quickly
- still suffer from 'rightous zeal'
- no real anti-tank options beyond a meltagun which means 1 less power toy in a predominantly 'assault' unit.
- no veteran sergeant option

I think that a HQ squad would do better

I stick my Sword Brethren with my EC and let my Assault Termies go take on the hordes. Put the Sword Brethren and Emperors Champion in a Razorback with Twin Linked lascannons(in case you run into something nasty), and go HQ hunting.

but u cant atach the ec to a unit he must be on his own at all time its says in the codex he can not lead join or be attached to any unit

but he can work alongside that unit.

its a neat little trick whereby if you place an IC next to a unit, but not in it (and preferably with the unit surrounding it), then the IC cannot be targetted by enemy fire, even by torrent of fire (since he is not part of that unit). and once the IC is in combat, he is separate from the unit anyway!

its often used by Sisters players with Cannonesses w/ jump pack and Seraphim. if the cannoness were placed in the seraphim unit, the unit would lose hit and run, but this method allows the cannoness to be protected getting to combat, but doesn't stop the seraphim from using hit and run once in combat

EDIT: actually though, Luthor has a point. the razorback is a dedicated transport, so only models from the 'owning' unit can use it. if the EC cannot join that unit, he cant go in the razorback
