Nope,
you could try ebay or something.
Squats were discontinued for 40k and Epic, and thus is not available on the living rulebook.
and i highly doubt anyone scanned the more-than-decade-old Epic40k rules for squats, so you probably can't even find scans.

Though there MAY be a chance.

Sorry mate =/

I've got several friends w/ epic and older editions.. I'll see if they have squat rules and scan them in to you, on the promise you update them as a Codex: Squats for 40k and the new edition!!!

They didn't want 40K to be like fantasy in space. That's what it used to be like. So Squats were taken away.

i bloody hate Squats.

lazy, sheer bloody lazy!

that is all, apologies - i felt compelled to get that off my chest

EDIT: the above is my feelings towards the design studio staff that came up with the concept, not my view of the people on this thread trying to re-invent the Squat codex. Also, i am aware that this post was unhelpful and again i apologise - Squats bring out the worst in me

That may be true buts it not what i heard. Due to lack of sales/interest in collecting Squat armies they were discontinued for 40k. I hope with 40k's new popularity (Thanks Black Library) they might come back in as at least a Guard troop type like Ratlings or Ogryns. Where Squats even metioned in Dark Heresy?

No, Squats are no longer a part of the 40K intellectual property (other than the lasting copyright on their background, which can be considered in GW's control, rather than directly linked to 40K) and thus will never ever make a reappearance.

They were not dropped for being unpopular, they were in fact very popular as far as I have been made aware.

Squats will not have appeared in Dark Heresy. Period. See 1st paragraph for the reason.

As a related but unrelated note, a sketch of one of the mysterious Demiurg appeared at a recent GW event on the Forge World stand. This would put forth the possibility of a Demiurg unit appearing for the Tau Empire, even if it is just produced by FW.

And if that has no meaning to you, then i'll simply say that the Demiurg can be considered to have inherited the ethos of the Squats - but it is important to note that they are 100% an alien species.

Squats ARE still in the IP. They have made a number of appearances in Black Library publications that are considered canonical. But until anyone in the Studio feels they can do the concept justice in a distinctive and interesting army list, they won't be making a comeback on the tabletop. In fact, the annihilation of the homeworlds was, I believe, confirmed in Codex: Orks. That isn't the end of the Squats, of course. Just the end of the homeworlds. Plenty of squats still out there in the galaxy.

theyve also been removed from a lot of the older books (pre BL books republished under BL).

ithink, on the whole, they are trying to limit new appearences bythe squats... until, maybe, if i get what ive been wishing for these past few birthdays and shooting stars ive seen, the make Demiurge for 40k
