| Trooper ![]() | Does anybody remember Warhammer Quest, or even older again; Hero Quest? They were both kick ass games, I had much fun playing them. So in this thread we discuss these ancient wonders of the GW world. Just talk about experiences you had, memorable games and moments.

Blog Entries: 1 | damn that takes me back! hero quest and space crusade got me into the hobby. they were awesome games in their own right, especially the advanced versions of each. even better was space hulk, that lil game was addictive in the extreme. and man'o'war was cool too!

| I remember a very lonely rainy day playing Talisman when I was 12. I played by myself and it took me a very long time to get through the game. At one point I started a little story where I became attached to all of my followers. Particularly the donkey and barmaid card which became a companion and wife respectively. It was very difficult for me in the end because as I went through the final dungeon they fell victim to a spiked pit trap and a vortex killing both. It was a very sad day for my Templar. Disclaimer - I am no longer sad enough to play a board game by myself.

| Trooper ![]() | Hero Quest got me into the hobby too. I managed to get it off e-bay again, everything there and everything unpainted. Space Hulk was awesome and I hear they are releasing it again. I can't wait. Manowar kicked ass and who can forget Gorka Morka?

| Sergeant ![]() | there would be no rhyme nor reason to re-releasing space hulk (not that i would be particularly against it) - they've already given make-do rules for it using Kill Team

| Trooper ![]() | Blood Bowl rocked. I want to play it again. In fact I must mail order a team and get a few games in. Has anyone got any suggestions on a good team? I haven't been in the loop with Blood Bowl in a long time.
